Question:
Life imitating art? Problem is disclosure of Foley's emails and problem is alter boys telling of abuse?

Is this life imitating art? Hastert's false assertion that the problem of Democrats bringing Mark Foley's inappropriate and predatory electronic messages to the media just before the mid-term elections seems eerily familiar to an episode of South Park that focused on the problem of alter boys telling about abuse by priests.

Never thought of South Park as art -- but times change. Also never thought I'd hear presidents, vice presidents, secretaries of state and defense spout falsehoods. My favorite: Cheney saying "I never said that" when it was on tape. What chutzpa! And he's the one with gravitas.

Cheney is on the war path again spouting the same old tired nonsense.

as he says in his stump speech, "still lethal, still desperately trying to hit us again." Bush, he says, is "protecting America" while the Democrats advocate "reckless" policies that add up to a "strategy of resignation and defeatism in the face of determined enemies."

First question---Life is no imitating art.

Life is a chain of experiences.

Why Mr.Cheney that too on tape.

In India people like M.Cheney come on TV say some wonderful statemeants nice to hear and the next day they say they never ment what they said.

Keen observation you got there. What's more disturbing is how we are unwilling to do anything except complain while our leaders murder, steal and pillage (us). I too remember them saying that Iraq was no longer a threat and that they had no weapons of mass destruction, couldnt cut it as a military anymore etc etc way back in 1991. What changed? No country could rearm that quickly and to date they have found nothing? Why are we still there killing innocent women, children and old men in wheelchairs?

Movie had planes used as bomb just prior to 9-11. Yes sometimes there are simular events portrayed in movies and even in fiction.
