Do you believe private entities should have the right to discriminate against someone because they're a member of a protected class or should the government force them to associate with people they don't wish to associate with?

We should end the idea of "protected classes" and simply ban all forms of discrimination against everyone including whites and men.

As a business owner, I despise the idea of anybody trying to tell me how to run my business, the government especially. That being said, they should not have the right to discriminate against anyone, nor have the government force people to associate with other's against their wishes.

They already have the right. They just have to be careful how they exercise it. They cannot be blatant.
If a business owner makes the concious decision to pass over the Best Candidate in order to indulfe his prejudice, he is already paying a price for it.
If you are stupid enough to actually tell an applican "Sorry, we don't hire your kind here' then you should have to pay a fine. But if you are good at reading people, during the interview, you can get a person to say something that disqualifies them. EAnd even if they don't, you STILL don't have to hire them.

Well, some people think we should run our country like a private business. Slippery slope.
