They didn't win. They had a split decision. They won the House, but lost the Senate. In fact, they struck out completely in California, a trend-setting state. Every single state wide office was won by Democrats, including the Governor, the Lieutenant Governor, the Senate, and the Attorney General.

Winning one election would not have given the majority to the House and only 8 behind parity in the Senate. This shift to Conservatives started with the election of Scott Brown in the HEART of Democratic territory, winning Ted Kennedy's old seat and a few other special elections back in January 2010. Stay tuned for November 2012.

First on the question of immigration. in case you look on the figures on immigration over the final 30 years there are very almost the two the comparable extensive form entering this usa on a each year foundation no remember who replaced into in government and it replaced into unquestionably the tories with interest slicing which led to the extensive backlog of circumstances to construct up. touching directly to elections the coalition have desperate to freeze the inheritance tax over right here few years at its latest initiate fee, so the middle training pays extra. this money will bypass to help in looking after the elderly. I could think of this could usher in extra votes from the undesirable and much less wealthy pensioners. yet will lose votes from a number of the middle training. yet I assume the tories have labored it out to be of their favour. whether for labour to win they choose for troublesome hitting smart regulations like this to get them observed. yet we never hear even a small squeak from them.

Of course the Democrats, who declared the Republican party to be dead after the 2008 election, would never stoop that low.
