Hello my name is "say i wont". That is in the sense of "You wont win." The reason i tell you this is because you dont know who i am and what i do for a living.

Anyway, I have a bill (piece of legislation) that i want to introduce. It would be much appreciated if you read and give your opinion because THIS IS REAL, this WILL be talked about on CNN, MSNBC, Fox in the future.

Before i get into it, i want you to know that this is really not a bill but a new constitution, in bill form, BUT our existing constitution is included, unchanged, The only changes are the 11th amendment on, except for a few such as the 19th. But those issues are minor compared to the changes in law that this legislation introduces. Im going to summarize this bill for you, NOT all issues will be addressed on here but if you agree/disagree with what you read here, you will feel the same about the official version.

Here we go!

1. Taxes, State/Federal Revenue- The first concept people cant grasp anymore is that the USA is a collection of states into a union. It is VERY similar to the EU. Its basically a pact. What would happen is each state regains its sovereign rights. Taxes, laws ect. are determined by individual states. NO TAXES ARE LEAVED DIRECTLY ON THE PEOPLE FROM THE FED! The fed doesn't tax. Going back to the concept of a union, the states pay into this account for the fed gov. Say 12% of a states annual revenue goes to the federal government. This percentage is determined by congress. A congress that is hoping to get reelected by their state. The higher the "fee" the more load on the people of their state, and for poorer states, mean higher taxes, and that congressman not getting reelected. Can you see the checks and balances here?

2. Government Programs- All Federal Government organizations will be privatized EXCEPT for those needed for national security (C.I.A, F.B.I, ex.). But lets take some that WOULD be privatized. First, the board of directors and other "upper level" positions would be appointed by congress. Now, the word private is misleading. Say we are talking about NASA. Nasa would be traded on the stock market, get funding threw traditional corporate avenues, ect. BUT the United states government would hold 51% OWNERSHIP in nasa to that no foreign country or entity could buy it out for national security reasons. (also a contract stating that Nasa will no way shape or form work with any entity against the best interests of the USA, or something along those lines)

3. Military- Our military structure would NOT change expect for the national guard. Basically, each state is responsible for its own states defense, so long as it does not impede the progress and welfare of the United states (since that state is still part of the USA).

4. Welfare/Government assistance- STATE ISSUE

Other things such as congressional pay and stuff in also in there.

This is my main problem with your proposition:

"... get funding threw traditional corporate avenues..."

I guess you must be a republican. Before I can take your bill seriously, Congressperson, how about writing it in a coherent convention first? Sorry I am such a condescending intellectual elitist but I am after all a liberal, and I am on a strict grammer and spelling correction quota.

Where you to submit this proposal, you would be laughed at and ridiculed. Your proposals are of the most extreme naiveté. Understand that in order for an economy to function and for a government to provide services, currency has to have value. The US dollar is not backed by precious metals, it is backed solely on the faith on the government to be able to pay or service its debts. If the government does not have enough revenue, they are forced to print more money, this lowers the value of the dollar. A weak dollar affects the purchasing power of all citizens and creates more debt. Taxes are essential to maintain the value of the dollar.

Essential services, such as water distribution, are key strategic services where society would be greatly distressed where market forces of selection and discrimination where to be put into play. Such essential services must remain public.

Our current military structure has evolved into an imperial force, this massive buildup of arms and personnel cause extreme strains on the budget. A truly sensible fiscal austerity proposal would cut military spending.

"What a maroon."

Yeah, the state thing worked so well during the civil rights era. Try, Try again.

Oh, and why does this FED need CIA or protection from my state's armies? Each state is going to decide war issues and such, if not, go fly a kite. You are a simpleton, beyond measure.
