Is it true that we've had eleven world wars?

Every other day I visit this site and see someone writing about "WW11". Now, how much effort does it take to either write World War Two or WWII? I love the excuse one guy gave for writing it as WW11, "they don't have Roman numerals on my computer!" Seriously, all it takes is turning on the caps lock and typing "W" twice and the letter "I" twice.

How much effort does it really save hitting the 1 button twice,or just typing TWO, which is only one extra key stroke.

Of course, the right way is WWll ., but that's technically World War small L small L.......

and then some dipsh*t is bound to ask..........."When was world war small L? "

Or he could avoid all ambiguity by typing "World War Two."

When I code in Fortran the font used makes 1's look like l's are you sure that's not what happened
