They have their thongs all in a wad because beginning school teachers make $25.000.00 per year plus health insurance and retirement.

But they seem to have no problem with military salaries.
Applying the same arithmetic to an army sergeants pay as they do with GM Workers or Teachers, old sarge is knocking down $150,000.00 per year.

sorry, you are a bit confused about who is who.

the problem we have in this country is that the capitalist have taken over the government and made the laws to help them while impoverishing everyone else.

there is one simple statistic that points this out the top 10% of our country take home 90% of all income!! that means in a room with 10 people and 1 dollar on the table 1 person takes 90 cents and the other 9 people have to split up 10 cents!!!

THAT IS THE PROBLEM!

We don't have a problem with what other people earn, we have a problem with liberals that think they have a right to steal it.

Oh and I have been working since 1972. First in the military,(you know the services you libs say are for people that can't cut it in the civilian world)

Then in a wide variety of jobs ending in the construction of airliners.

What I would like is for liberals to stop coming up with new ways to taking and spending the money I make for what they say is the "common good".

We are not concerned about what others make UNLESS they are being overpaid in salary and benefits when compared to similar jobs in the private sector. THAT is grossly unjust to every non union employee in the country. Unions make bigger wages that raise the prices on every item that they produce (including the cost of operating the government) and the rest of us end up paying more for everything. THIS is the reason why our society is becoming more divided economically. Those who used to be middle class are not the working poor...and if you include all the benefits that union members get and "we" pay for in ALL instances, they are the ones getting richer without having to lift a finger or DO more work.

The only party that plays class warfare is the Democratic party. People in the military make far less then teachers. Sergeants don't make 150,000 a year or even remotely close to that number.

See when Teachers salary and benefits are so huge that the students are effected, then it is time to eliminate public employee labor unions, and teacher tenure.
