According to Zhang, China's exports are mainly labor-intensive products with a low added value, and since the United States stopped producing many of the products long ago, it has to import the products from either China or other countries.

Wen states that US-owned firms were the main beneficiaries of China’s export growth. Shangai Daily reports:
He noted that there are nearly 60,000 US investment projects in China. In 2008, US-owned enterprises in China reported US$146.7 billion in total sales, US$72.2 billion in exports and nearly US$8 billion in total profit.
Wen also said that Chinese exports to the US did not have a serious effect on US unemployment rates because they are mostly labor-intensive or low-value added products which most US manufacturers no longer produce.

As you can plainly see. The Chinese are being told that America no longer manufactures anything and it has no intention to start doing it. Now contrast that with the excuse we are told about illegal aliens.

The constant rattling on of "guest worker" amnesty programs is based a lot because those who support it honestly believe that illegal aliens take jobs that Americans don't want. Anyone with a brain knows that is a crock of ****. There are plenty of Americans who were doing the jobs prior to the massive influx of illegal aliens over the past twenty years and they're willing to do it today. About the only thing stopping them is that they aren't willing to work for less than minimum wage and that unlike illegal aliens have to have taxes withheld from their paychecks with a contribution from their employer in the form of payroll taxes as well.
I think we know who is behind all of this.
