Can we afford another Timothy McVeigh moment or mass shootings at abortion clinics killing innocent people.

Should Hillary or Bernie's new AG immediately crack down on these home grown mostly Right Wing terrorists as the Dept of Homeland Defense has said were on the rise?

It seems to come as a shock to most Republicans that the laws apply to cons as well as libs. But shouldn't they?



I have to say I'm pleased that Cliven Bundy got arrested also. The standoff at the nature center might not have happened if this clown had been arrested before, though I can understand Obama's reluctance to force another big shootout like Ruby Ridge and Waco. I can understand the principle of 'civil disobedience' (Hell, it was us libs that invented that!) but classifying one's criminal actions as civil disobedience does not protect one from arrest and prosecution and punishment!

What McVeigh did was wrong. Completely wrong. But he was pushed by Bill Clinton killing a bunch of innocent women and children in Waco, Texas. That's hardly anything like a couple of guys occupying a place that nobody hardly visits in the first place to protect the rights of someone who already served their time.



BTW, The Federal Government claimed it was Federal Land, the occupiers said it wasn't. The Federal Government went to a Federal Judge to get a judge to issue a trespassing warrant to have the occupiers removed. The Federal Judge wouldn't issue the warrant, because the Federal Judge agreed with the occupiers.



How did the Fed's finally come up with a plan? By getting a judge to sign off on a trumped-up "conspiracy" charge. They couldn't get them arrested on anything else but by claiming there was a conspiracy to prevent the BLM from doing their "job", and all they had to do was make it seem like this was their INTENT to injure BLM officials to get a judge to issue the warrant.



Obviously, they aren't terrorists by any definition except for the one in the back of your little mind.

You can't "crack down on right wing terrorists" when they haven't actually committed a crime. Merely holding the views typical of right wing militias is not a crime, in fact, it's protected under the first amendment. If someone actually plots a crime then they should be arrested and prosecuted, until then, they are free to talk about their militant views and form militias as much as they want to. Freedom of speech and freedom of association are both constitutional rights.



Well, I suppose you can do what you suggest, thanks to the "patriot act". But you really shouldn't. It violates the US constitution. Nobody should be jailed without judge and jury and without having actually committed a crime.



If you think Bernie is going to "crack down on militias" I've got news for you. He voted against the patriot act and he isn't going to order the FBI to arrest anyone who hasn't actually committed a crime.
