It think it will be very close.. I just don't see any reason to exchange Obama for Romney. I liked the real Romney, but I am very happy with this 'seriously' conservative one. I don't want the GOP to take over the Congress and have a Republican president also. I like the House and the Senate to be divided but cooperative.(which we don't have now.) The POTUS is irrelevant in many ways. Congress controls the purse strings, writes and passes the bills.

Bottom line.. Republicans will vote for Romney and Democrats will vote for Obama. They both should be appealing to the moderates and Independents and not just preaching to their 'team".

I think Obama will win. Though he hasn't made rapid progress, the economy is still a bit better than it was back in '08. And even though a lot of people love Mitt, there are enough smart people to know he's not a republican, but a business man.

Recent poll on 5/2012 showed that "80% of Americans are worse off than 4 years ago"...

Add to that Solyndra, Fast & Furious, GM stockholders screwed (unions got the $), Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Hamasque, War on Libya w/o Congress approval.................[hellooo....]

We need a president who is proud of America.

Mitt Romney will win because Americans want Capitalism .... not Socialism

Have a great day.

I think with the economy as the biggest issue-independents will side with someone with experience in money management.

The President can stand on his record. His has accomplished much in very hostile environment. As an Independent who has often voted Republican, the actions of the GOP since the election of the President have truly sickened me. I cannot vote for the Representative of a Party that attempted to thwart every bill or act that would have helped our Country for no other reason except to get Obama out of office.

I predict Americans are smart enough to see that the GOP only cares about advancing their own agenda, be it good or bad for all Americans.

Edit: Billy Boy, Romney can only talk about how he might push the Economy in the right direction. He is no position at the present time to push the country in any direction.

President Obama will be elected to a 2nd Term as President of the United State of America.

I predict and pray Romney will win in part because he's the better choice for the country.

This election has become mostly about non-issues. Obama latest flip-flop on gay marriage, a sixteen year old Romney' bullying incident forty-seven years ago, Obama's self confessed use of marijuana and cocaine as a teenager and Bain capital.

It should be about the failed presidency of Obama whose promise of "Hope and Change" has left many including myself who at Hoped for change now HOPING FOR CHANGE".

I address each of the issues in detail below. I'm sorry it is by necessity very long.

Obama Gay Marriage Flip-Flop on Tuesday May 8, 2012

First let me say up front i could mot care less if two men, two women or a multiple people marry a goat.  Marriage is a word which due to all the divorce seems to becoming an antiquated term.

Did you know Obama was in favor of gay marriage before he was against it?

Obama Gay Marriage Flip-Flop

In February 1996, running for state office in Illinois, Obama signed a letter to a homosexual newspaper in Chicago, that included the statement, "I favor legalizing same-sex marriage, and would fight efforts to prohibit such marriages." so his statement today puts him back where he was on the record as recently as 1996- calling for the legalization of same-sex marriage.

The paragraphs are not well defined enough because of crazy formatting but his 96 stand is presented in about the forth paragraph of the article below...

http://www.redstate.com/california_yankee/2012/05/09/obama-finally-mans-up-admits-he-supports-gay-marriage/

Since then, and until today’s admission Obama has been, well, nuanced. In true John Kerry fashion:

President Obama was for gay marriage [1996].

Before he was undecided [1998].

Before he was “not a supporter of gay marriage” [2004].

Before he was reminded to “remain” open to the possibility that his “unwillingness to support gay marriage is misguided” [2006].

Before he decided that marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman [April 2008].

Before he was not in favor of gay marriage [November 2008].

Before he was for the repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act [2009].

Before he admitted to an evolving attitude toward same-sex marriage [2010].

Before, at least for now, he was again for it.

How can Obama expect to be taken seriously on any issue when you cannot count on anything he says? When Obama states his position, you can only count on the fact that his position will change, or evolve, depending upon the audience and/or the political expedience of the moment.

Isn't it amazing having changed his stand this week on Same-Sex marriage Obama is already selling T-Shirts?  Do you think George Clooney order them just hoping Obama would move further left?

Clearly Obama will say and possibly do anything to get re-elected.  If re-elected I expect Obama to continue to evolve and finally support repeal of DOMA and replacing it with legalized same-sex marriage.

Romney a bully

Mitt Romney, accused of forcibly cutting the hair of a flamboyant fellow prep student, apologizes for high school pranks - NY Daily News

Romney was 16 years old.  Keep in mind people are young and immature at 16.  Thy mature as they age almost becoming a different person.

I did many things when I was 16. Thankfully I can't remember any of them.  I do recall I was ver anti gay as a teenager.  My view has changed 180 degrees over the years. In part because my sister is a lesbian.

Do you realize Romney'bulling incident  happened over 47 years ago.  Are you the same person you were in high school?  If you are you must still be very young.

Conservatives counter claims that Mitt Romney was a bully: Obama was even worse! - NY Daily News and this is based on Obama's personal autobiography.

Based in the two storys Obama was a bully who beat up an African-American girl as a teen.

The problem is Obama can't run on "are you better off than you were four years ago?" mostly because he knows people are not. He choose instead a recycled call to socialism.
