I find it funny that another man who worked for the CIA for years - E. Howard Hunt - also said they hired a French assassin to shoot Kennedy.

Oswald was one of the shooters, he was also a stooge for the Mafia who was left holding the bag. Jack Ruby was in place to shut him up so he couldn't reveal who he was working for. The Mafia guy behind this whole scheme was probably Chicago's Sam Giancana, who himself was assassinated Mafia style, by the Mafia.



Why the Mafia ? Joe Kennedy had gone to the Mafia before JFK was elected, to ask the Mafia to persuade the teamsters, and other labor unions, to rally around John Kennedy for president. The Mafia obliged Joe Kennedy, naturally with the understanding that Kennedy owed them. Once JFK was elected president, he appointed Robert Kennedy as Attorney General. As Attorney General, he went after Jimmy Hoffa and the teamsters, for financially backing the Mafia in its Las Vegas development, with teamster pension funds.



The Mafia went to Joe Kennedy to ask him to talk to his sons about their targeting of Hoffa in this matter. Either John and Robert ignored their fathers request, or they never got the message. In the meantime, they continued their case against Jimmy Hoffa. That's when the Mafia decided that more drastic measures were necessary to silence the Kennedy's. Eventually, Hoffa was convicted and went to jail. This happened the year before Robert Kennedy was assassinated. Coincidence ??????
