No. You clearly don't understand Obama's health care proposal.

I hope not the end of Medicare - I do believe that is needed unless he comes up with a better program.

Medicaid is a different story - it's so abused here in Michigan that it's ridiculous. I work in an office that see's a high volume of medicaid patients and I just LOVE seeing medicaid patient's driving up in their Escalade's, walking in wearing clothes I wouldn't buy even if I could afford them, dragging 6 kids with 6 different last names, screaming at them the whole time they are in the office, getting only the minimum care available for those kids and complaining that they have to pay for anything at all (even a $2 copay). When it comes to buying something for themselves only the best will do but their kids can do without for all they care . . . and this program was originally intended for the kids - not so that some baby mama can sit and keep breeding just for a bigger monthly paycheck to pay for her nails, her hair, her designer clothes, and help support whatever man has her knocked up this time around. They sit in the office letting their kids run wild, screaming at them or ignoring them while they are talking on a $400 cell phone that I had to pay for with my tax dollars.

Under nationalized healthcare we will save a lot in expense by having people die while they wait for surgery. That's how Canada does it.

Universal health care means long lines and waiting to see a doctor. And someone will decide if you are too fat, too old, or if you smoke too much to get treated.

I don't know about the rest of it.

Umm.... Do you know public healthcare has it's focus and private healcare ALSO has it's focus? No one can totally make the other useless.

And.... You don't get Obama's heal care proposal.

I work in health insurance, and I can tell you, there will ALWAYS be a need for this type of employee, there are plenty of jobs IF Medicare and Medicaid, two really lousy programs in theory, go away.

He will keep medicare and medicaid because they are social programs. Transitioning to Universal health care will take more than one term. Obama is pro-social programs so he won't eliminate those programs.
