WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview

have confidence something basically because of the fact it incredibly is in the paper. Does absolutely everyone think of that once all those months of President Bush refusing to set a time particular for troop withdrawal, that he's doing it now for any reason different than politics? Come on human beings, you're smarter than that! Bush brings the troops living house in the previous the election, McCain wins, McCain deliver them back! McCain ia not in choose of a troop withdrawal in any respect. end searching for a reason to not vote for Senator Obama, do basically not vote him. you do not could desire to justify it to absolutely everyone. the only difficulty is that each and every physique human beings will could desire to go through by way of yet another 4 years of Bush coverage, with capability mad lady salivating for the west wing.

Left Coast Liberal:

Senator Obama lied and twisted Senator McCains Comment. It is a smear. The truth is Senator Mc Cain said to be in Iraq if they wanted us under peaceful times. Do you mean to tell me you are not sure why we are in Japan, Germany etc.... Senator Mc Cain has always said we would be out by 2013 - troops, equipment, trucks, weapons, beds....everything - that was his estimate.

Here is the Video where Senator Obama is caught and then Tells the world that he got this news from YOU TUBE:

As far as Senator Obama stalling the troops so it sways in his favor - who would doubt that given his shady past and shady present. He is willing to through out a smear and then cry Senator Mc Cain isn't playing fair.

So we have to wait until more information on this "stalling" comes out.

If it does pan out it won't matter as Senator Obama seems to be able to get away with anything. The majority of the media is afraid to attack him for he is a multi racial candidate.

If you had the article to this post I would like to see it and compare it to other articles. Thank You for posting this.

You copied a portion of the Post article but you didn't include Obama's response. Why is that? Could it be that the Post, hardly a friend to the Obama campaign, didn't bother to get a comment from Obama before they ran the story? What corroboration is there to the posts account? Those are the questions you should be asking.

Apparently Left Coast Liberal thinks this is fine....

Sheesh. I thought he was bad enough when he was just intentionally misleading his supporters about what he intended to do, military intervention-wise.

Unfortunately, McCain is a terrible choice, as well.

Vote for principled third party candidates this year. We have other choices, and it is high time we made use of them.

100 years war with McCain isn't realistic either. If 4000 troops were killed in 5 years of service, we would be losing 80,000 soldiers in 100 years.
