Is Obama out of step or are we the people?

Excerpt:

The joke about the obsessively doting mother comes to mind.
Watching her son parade with rows of fellow troops, she notices he is on his left foot when they are all on the right.
“Why are they out of step?” she asks.

So it is with Barack Obama. The nation is turning against him, yet he shouts to the heavens that he is right and the country is wrong.
Mothers can get away with that sort of thing. Presidents and their parties get shellacked.

The Quinnipiac poll showing that Obama is now considered the worst president since World War II offers him no silver lining. There were 12 choices and the voting wasn’t close — he got the highest “worst” vote, 33 percent...

Check out the article, it's short but deadly accurate. What gets me is these people are just realizing what many of us instinctively knew when we first heard the commie organizer speak. He is the one who is out of step.

President Obama doesn't give a hoot if he is in sync with the rest of us little people or not. He has only one person to please and that is himself. Maybe Michele?

With the help of his blind yet committed allies, he will continue to do whatever he pleases, right or wrong until the bitter end. Anyone that is actually paying attention to his illegal and underhanded maneuvers and comments on them is considered a racist, woman hating, rich loving SOB. You know the drill.

How these loonies fail to see the lack of leadership, the growing number of scandals in nearly every segment of government is beyond belief. Someday when their kids/grandkids want to know if they supported this mess, that has totally ruined their financial well-being, they will have to lie their way out it.

PS- The more I watch Pres. Obama's speeches, the more I'm reminded of Mussolini standing on his balcony giving a speech with his jaw stuck in the air. Anyone else notice the similarity?

Yes he is and so is the entire Democratic party. The emphasis seems to be focused on lies and deception with this current administration.

As if they told the truth the American people would not get what is good for them. Of course they know better what is good for the people, more so then the people do themselves.

This idea that the gov is more important, they are on a different level, they are special, etc. Where does it come from? Maybe from Hollywood, where actors are cheered, put on a pedestal. Women crying and people cheering Obama is similar to that, is it not? He can do no wrong in their eyes. Because he is SPECIAL!!! Right?

The ideals of socialism are not lacking in compassion. But socialism is not workable in that it's just a mirror image of capitalism. In the end , there is a hierarchy. One has proven to work better than the other. One is short term, the other long. The long one is our best shot. The ultimate goal is the same. happiness for everybody. But these ideals become corrupted. Power seems to be a common factor.

We, as people, have gone down this road so many times, that it should be clear that political and financial power of one person over another, should probably become a thing of the past.

My guess is that you haven't read the actual Quinnipiac poll. If you had you would have seen that in the same exact poll people were asked who was the BEST president since WW2. Obama came in 4th. He can't simultaneously be the worst president and one of the best. Such contradictory results suggests a problem with the polls methodology. But the right won't care about that. They will keep citing that one result and ignore the rest.

And I don't see how you can claim that Obama is out of step when he is more in sync with the American people than Republicans are on a variety of issues from gun safety to the minimum wage to immigration reform.

The primary purpose of government is the protection of the citizens and the nation but that is definitely not Obama's goal nor do I see Republicans actively engaged in that either. Who is protecting our property rights? Who is watching our immigration to prevent a pandemic, cartel presence, terrorist presence, American jobs and wages, even our basic way of life and culture. H1B's are trained by Americans who then must give up their jobs to them while our government lies saying we lack qualified people to fill those jobs. Who on earth is representing Americans? Nobody.

Considering We the People voted him in twice (no third party judgements like the last guy either) maybe it's the Cons who need to check their rhythm.

Obama is a looser and way out of touch from the American people

there is no we the people. you don't speak for me and i don't speak for my neighbors.

the Framers wrote we the people because they dared to speak for the entire country, which didn't agree with them, at the time, at all.

See: Federalists vs Democratic-Republicans, etc

George Mason's dissident, etc.

Whiskey Rebellion

popular discontent at the wealthy during the early republic.

I don't read anything from The New York Post. The only polls that matter are the ones that happen in the first few days of November every other year. Unless of course you are Carl Rove and, you're still waiting for the results from Ohio.

Sigh. When are republicans going to fact check their far right blogs? If anyone is out of step with the American people, it would be Congress, which is polling at 7%.

The fact is that Obama is polling at 42%. The previous president polled at 22%. The survey you cited is done under every single president since WWII. Had you bothered to fact check anything you read on your blog, you would note that EVERY time this poll is done the results are the same: every single sitting president at the time of the poll is determined to be 'the worst since WWII'. Thus, Bush was the worst since WWII under his presidency, and Clinton, and Bush sr and Reagan, as will be the future president in 2016 when the poll is done again.

obamamama hates America as it exists and wants to recreate it as HE feels it to be "best." Unfortunately, that "best" is way OUT of step with reality and what the people need.

One difference between conservatives and liberals: Conservatives are guided by TRUTH. Liberals try to GUIDE the Truth.

Republican since before she was born… and PROUD of it.

No president will ever sink lower in the polls than Boy George Bush and his 19%.

He is leading, not following. So you can't say he is out of step unless you can say who he should be following.
