I have asked 4 or 5 economic questions today and have seen this at least once in every one.

How can liberals complain about outsourcing when Hillary and Bill Clinton gave China the status it has today?

The libs ought to be careful in talking about outsourcing. Someone is going to point out that they have made "corporation hate" the flavor of the day for their dim-witted followers, and have made America a much unfriendlier place to do business. Outsourcing (to some extent) is the natural response to dealing with a country (and political party) that has created such an unwelcoming atmosphere.

Brown 950 is correct Nixion opened China's door first, no one else. Clinton and Hilary did not create China's economic situation like your trying to pretend they did. But to directly respond last week and I quote "Sept 29 (IBNS) The Republicans have prevented passage of an anti-offshoring bill, that would have denied tax breaks to US firms which outsource the jobs to overseas." I sighted a neutral source so you can't spin this. Its a fact Republicans support outsourcing. Its good for quick cheap profit. Later on it cost in lost jobs, lost taxes from lost jobs but still, the fact remains, higher profits by manufacturing overseas and selling in the US.

Clinton did not make any company move jobs overseas, Hilary never tried to do that either. But it is a fact that Republicans are voting for tax breaks on outsourcing jobs. Now its unpopular and they would like people to believe its not them but that doesn't make it true. Your entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts. Be real and admit some people maybe old or sick and would rather see companies make huge profits today and then not care if 4 to 5 years later their is higher unemployment because of it. But you can't hide from the truth forever.

It's not new, but we're hearing about it more since the push back of the Republicans against a law that would not give companies tax benefits for doing that.

But we should also be using the term "offshoring," which has a very large tax impact on the US.

definite..outsourcing is what companies that Republicans in Congress look after and combat for do...they get huge tax breaks, much less regulations, and then deliver jobs remote places so as that they are able to strengthen their earnings margins, on the price of yankee workers.

You are entitled to your own opinions not your own facts. The fact is that George W Bush outsourced this countries jobs and destroyed our economy in the process.

It was a talking point during the Clinton era. And if conservatives were so against it, why was it not repealed during the Bush administration.

You want jobs, we have to stop outsourcing. It's pretty simple.

It's not a new talking point. Both parties have been pretending to be against out sourcing for many years.

outsourcing is very profitable for corporations, that's why liberals don't like it.

I'm not sure why you are trying to discourage politicians from setting up policy that retains American jobs.. But I'm sure you have your reasons.
