What are the goals of the Democrat party?

See, the Democrats are running out of victims. The affluence in this country is good. We had the poverty statistics last week. The poverty in this country is not what it was. The Democrats need uneducated, unmotivated, voters. They need people to depend on them. They're going to have to create them. So the way they're going to do this -- to say that they destroy the country, we've gotta define that, because we have to be very careful here. This is an important point, and it's accurate, but when you say, "destroy the country," it can cause people to be turned off and not listen to what you say. They want to remake the country. They don't like capitalism. They don't like freedom, because that's when they lose elections. When people are economically prosperous, the last thing they need is government. When they are economically prosperous and growing, the last thing they need is government programs of any kind. The Democrats are desperate to have as many people dependent on government as possible, because government is the engine of their control and view of the country.

That's why they're trying to come up with all of these stealth health care plans and things, to get as many people as possible, depending on the government, for a need. Now, I happen to think health care is not a "need." I think it's a "desire." (But that's an argument for a different day.) You know, we all have wants and needs. The Democrats are trying to persuade as many people as possible to let them be in charge of supplying their needs, and the Democrats know that they cannot do that in a means of prosperity for everybody, so everybody will end up being in a situation of increased need without being educated or trained in order to provide for it themselves. It's about control of the population as a means of attaining total power that they can't lose, because at that point they'll never be voted out. Too many people will be dependent on them. Look at the black vote: 90% every year. Why? Well, it's what they're trying to do with the Hispanic vote. Look at the union vote. Look at the union money that comes in. You can look at their various constituency groups and find out how they planned to do it for the whole country. So it's not that they're trying to destroy it. They don't want America to stop being America. They just want to change the way it's structured. The way I put it is that they want to destroy the traditions and institutions that define this country's greatness, because they don't include liberals.

People have to understand what liberalism is. Liberalism, socialism, communism, you have to understand what it is versus conservatism. Conservatism puts total faith and confidence in the individual. "You go out there, pal, and do the best you can. We want to set up circumstances that make it possible for you to be the best you can be," and we do that by getting government and regulation and obstacles out of your way. The Democrats want total control of government for the purposes of securing their power. Now, there are some Republicans like that, too. That's why I'm not saying "Republicans and Democrats" here. I'm saying "conservatives and liberals."

You tell it like it is. They scoff at the individual because they think most people are ignorant, stupid, and doomed to fail, because the world is so "unfair." All but the "privileged few," that we should all hate and punish, that is. They consider it their duty to weed out this "unfairness," deciding for the rest of us ignorant slob masses what we deserve. They sneer at us for not wanting their "help." They see it as more evidence of their superiority, that we are incapable of seeing how much "better" they could make everything. They know what is best for the collective.

Very well said. Most democrats look to the government to help them and they don't see that the democrat leadership doesn't have their best interest at heart. All they care about is power and will do great harm to the nation to get it. They are intensionally sabotaging the war effort in Iraq. That will do enormous damage to the prestige of the US not to mention the death and destruction it will mean for the region. They sabotage the economy with oppressive tax rates and the attack the health care system with the intension to break it with red tape so they can socialize it. It is about power. Edwards said he would force every American to get a physical every year. That probably sounds nice to a simple minded liberal but when you actually consider the unconstitutional grab for power that represents it is illustrative who they actually are.

They ran on nothing and havent accomplished anything since being elected. In my opinion theyve lived up to expectations...nothing! Sure you may have the occassional dumbocrat threatening to impeach Bush, or exposing some Republican scandal, or humiliating one of our troops. But really? They never promised anything, and did just that!

im not sure i agree with you. The reason there is less poverty than there was is BECAUSE of the democrats, who think about the little guy while republicans give tax cuts to the rich.
