Usually aircraft carriers and other military vehicles are named after past presidents long after the said president leaves office. I'm guessing the USS George W. Bush will probably come about within the next decade or so.

Really no point to the question when facts are used!

Perhaps the first ship of the next class of carriers will be the USS Bill Clinton. It will boast the ability to steer a course straight down the middle, but will have a tendency to veer to the left or toward large sums of money. It will be fueled by an unending supply of testosterone, which perpetually replenishes itself. Its presence will always be marked by chaos and destruction, but there will never be enough evidence to prove that it was really there. Maintenance of this class will be a nightmare as items will constantly disappear from the aircraft and wardroom furniture will mysteriously vanish.

For maybe the second or third time in over three years, I actually agree with every word Mommanuke said.

Probably because she said so few.

"It's Over" ran it down and I don't remember seeing a "USS William Jefferson "BJ" Clinton" in his list either!

As my esteemed colleage, Mommanuke piointed out, The george h. W. Bush is new, and it is the one that all the attacks on ISIS (ISIL if you are kerry or Obama) are being carried out from/.

Sorry this is a little off topic, but i wanted to let you know that for the last couple weeks i've been making $400/day just by cheating at online roulette.

The method is so simple i just watched this youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJ1EkL8pty4

The navy might've thought that the expressways, schools etc that were named after bush was enough.

His Dad was a Naval Aviator in WW2. I believe W was an Air Force reservist which would not so strongly support such an honor.

Haven't had time.....these things are planned a decade in advance.

They are naming a new mine sweeper the USS Obama.

He generally blows up whatever he touches.

Whine I was in. The navy it was customary to NOT name any ship after a living person.
?

Probably because they know that one will be named the USS Obama, and the Obama would attack the GWB.

It still may happen. There is an Airport named for Bush.
?

They'll get around to it. Obama won't even get a minesweeper.

It generally takes a little longer than that. They just named one after his father, though.
right is right, left is wrong

don't worry, I am sure eventually your hero, Obama, will get a leaky rubber raft named after him
2014-08-17 15:24:24 UTC
Because even its own captain would probably want to sink such a craft.
2014-08-17 15:25:39 UTC
They will probably. I'm not sure how that is supposed to work. Bush had "balls!" Obama?
