Why are left wingers intolerant of things like the Mojave Cross and the Ten Commandments in courthouses, when they demand that we have to be tolerant of all non-Christians?

Why do liberals support such intolerance?

Liberals are hypocrits, it is part of their overall dementia.

It's easier to be secular than truly religiously tolerant. I don't care what's in the courtroom so long as every religion who wants something to be in that courtroom there gets the opportunity. Same with school prayer, as long as people can meditate, pray to Mecca, or form a pagan circle while the prayer is being read or after a religious ceremony, then there's no problem. As an atheist, I'll be taking a nap and catching up on need rest during the festivities\ceremonies.

i'm no longer particular which left wingers you propose, yet left wing does no longer unavoidably propose libertarian. There would nicely be a sturdy authoritarian streak in those who might want to impose with zeal their sort of liberty, equality and social justice upon a society, in basic terms as there would nicely be in those who're confident their faith holds the in basic terms way for human beings to carry on. I lived lower than the regime of the London Mayor Ken Livingstone, a very beautiful fellow yet slightly leftie Hitler if which couldn't a contradiction in words. I felt extra oppressed through him than through the different baby-kisser - and thoughts you, I lived via Thatcher's reign.

Spend 15 minutes on the Facebook feed for The Christian Left and you'll experience this behavior first-hand.

The seething hatred anything other than their brand of Christianity is quickly apparent. It's rather ironic, given that they're always complaining about other Christians that claim that their position is the correct one.

Keep in mind that these people feel very proud of their supposed tolerance. The amount of back-patting on the site is off the chart.

Objecting to an official public display of one particular religion is not the same thing as intolerance of the right of others to believe differently than one's self. Nor is it intolerance of that religion.

I am not aware of any official public display of the icons or dictates of any non-Christian religion. Ask yourself, what your response would be if the Ten Commandments in courthouses were replaced with dictates of another religion. Would you believe then that the state had the right to display those?

As to intolerance toward Christianity, I am not intolerant of Christians, being one myself. But I am intolerant of those who believe their particular version of Christianity is the only one and of those who would force others to live by their beliefs through the workings of the law.

I don't preach intolerance...you are talking about religious symbols favoring 1 religion on public or government property...

So when the buddhist get to erect a buddha, and the jews get to put torah scripture, and the satanist get to put a cloven hoofed statue on public and government property..then I will say fair enough....

Why do right wingers feel that their religion should get special privileges others don't have??
