Do you think there are more liberals or conservatives on Yahoo Answers?

Personally, I think it is littered with conservatives.

You would think it would be far-right wingnuts; they seem to have the most time on their hands with their anti-liberal mud-slinging and baseless rantings. However, it's quite possible that they just use multiple accounts and rate each other's comments to boost their numbers. Nothing like Enron-style book cooking. ;-)

I think it depends on the day of the week and time of day, but now that school is out more liberal underaged (18 and younger) post, littered best watch it the yahoo police are on duty

I consider myself a Democrat, but I'm pro-gun, pro-immigration, against the Iraq war, pro-universal healthcare, anti-government favoritism towards corporations, and I believe that women shouldn't have to have abortions because there is plenty of forms of contraception out there, but i don't think the government should be the ones to decide. I also like to smoke marijuana. I'm pro-military, I believe the military's money should be spent on upgrading the individual soldier instead of buying more fighter jets.



I also like watching 24, Weeds, and Heroes.



What does this make me?



Why can't we all just be Americans again, instead of liberals and conservatives? Both sides demonize the other.

Personally, I think there are more liberals overall, but that conservatives answer more questions. (They seem to have a lot more time on their hands.)

It certainly seems like ultra-conservative trolls rule the board. You can do a search on certain keywords and you'll see that the conservative results outnumber the liberal results by almost a factor of two.



Why that's the case is an interesting question.

It depends on the topic and the questions you read. Some questions tend to attract more of one side than the other. I'd say there are a fairly even number.

i feel this forum is dominated by neoconservatives who always try to muffle the voices of the right thinking, peace loving people. the cons use choicest abuses against libs. some of the Indian participants who are Hindu fascists, attack the progressive thinking people by calling names and resorting to fascist methods to silence the voices of progressive thinking people. the Hindu fascists have several ids and put concocting questions and answer themselves and select their answer as the best and thus use this yahoo answers to ventilate their hatred against, leftists, Muslims and Christians.

I find Yahoo fairly evenly split between liberals & conservatives. However I do think it has more childish ultra liberals spouting Marxist propaganda, than Ultra Right Religious Whackos spouting Fascism.

Perhaps. You may have noticed that they tend to run in packs, and will post answers in such rapid succession that they ether have to be networking to shoot down/bolster certain questions, or are using multiple identities.



This might make it seem that there are more than are actually participants.

I would say more left wing nuts and Liberals, since there are hundreds of questions asked each day here putting down George Bush on every issue and with left nut Crazy 9-11 CONSPIRACIE THEORIES, that our goverment killed 3,000 Americans. On the contrary,I think there are far more Liberals.Sites like this are usually more frequented by younger people-younger (school aged) people are generally more clueless about how the world really works and are more inclined to believe the pie-in- the sky stuff the libs are always spouting. School kids are still under the influence of their liberal teachers doctrine and tend to buy everything put forth hook,line & sinker.
