NO. I have more important things to waste my time on; rinsing out my skivvies, washing my sox, trimming my nose hairs. You know, really important things.

Yes, I would love to meet any former US President. I voted against Obama twice, but I respect the office and the result of the American Democratic process. He is a personable man, whether you like his politics or not.
I happen to have common ancestry with Obama, and the graves of our mutual ancestors are only a mile or so from where I live.

I could hang out with him for bit. I'd like to hear what he has to say when he isn't speaking publicly. When he has to phrase every comment in a way that can't be misconstrued or offend anyone, you don't get to know how he really thinks.

Yes. I would ask him why he supported LGBTQI rights and same-sex "marriage" and why he was pro-abortion, when he said he was a Christian. I would ask him if he knew what the Bible says about this stuff.
There was a Q-and-A session that he had on Yahoo! Answers when he was still in office, so I had an opportunity to communicate with him on here but I never acted on that.

Andy F
2018-07-23 21:35:28 UTC
Hmm. I voted for him twice and basically respect his presidency, which was pretty good for a black guy who happened to be supported by Wall Street and committed to smarter management of the US military empire.
But I don't think I have much to say to Obama, and he doesn't have anything to say to me.
If I could interview him for our local online democratic socialist newsletter, of course, I'd jump at the chance. But I'm an old journalist, and I might also jump at the chance to interview Trump.

It's not on my bucket list. I have said on numerous occasions, my wife and I would be better fits with the Obamas than the Trumps as long as politics is off the table. We are southern white and Christian. Exercise, kids, education and beer summits far outweigh fast food, golf clubs and anything else I've seen from them.
