Are Republicans willing to boycott every chain restaurant where illegals are used in the supply chain?

I am just wondering since almost every chain restaurant is involved in the employment of illegal immigrants through their vendors.

It is not up to the individual consumer to boycott restaurants or, rat out illegals, but rather the federal government's job to - amazingly enough - actually ensure the legality of those crossing our borders and protect us.

From the looks of some of these answers, I think your point is lost on many of the con's. Which is understandable, it's difficult for some to grasp that the food doesn't just appear once ordered, so the only possible illegals in the supply chain, would be the waiters, waitress's, or busboys.
As for me, although I am not a Republican, I do boycott chain restaurants as much as possible. I travel quite frequently, and in may southern cities, avoiding chains is no easy task... as many of the cities are increasingly, very hard to differentiate from the others, due to all the stores and restaurants, being pretty much identical, from one town/city to the next. Thanks Reagan.

Liberal ignorance continues to surprise me. Food service employees are prohibited from using the public bathroom to wash hands. Employees in employee only areas have a required by law sink with special bacterial soap to wash hands with. This small sink has to be legally posted with sign that says Hand Wash Only. Customer don't see this sink as it's mostly not visible to the general public. But it's there. Surprise, if you want to boycott them, boycott them because some employee didn't refill the "public" soap dispenser.

This is not a Republican issue. It is clearly an American Issue, and frankly I wonder why you consider yourself above it solely on your willingness to allow illegal activity to continually go unquestioned. It is a political football that has been passed for decades and it is about time someone caught it and advanced it forward. Knowing how hard it is to immigrate legally will alter your perception of the coddling of a group who is blatant in their resolve to usurp the laws that you and I have to abide daily. It appears that Ambition has been replaced by Am Bitchin.

Well, if that's what it takes to the government to fulfill it's obligations to its citizens, then yeah. The question becomes why don't you? The government's primary responsibility is to PROTECT its CITIZENS and BORDERS from all threats! Illegals crossing over into our country from Mexico are a huge threat to the safety of US CITIZENS living on the border. As a result, the government is failing its core duty and too many here don't see that as a problem.

I really don't eat enough at chain restaurants that a boycott would have an affect.

Why would republicans want to pander to the media and give up a perfectly fine meal to make a meaningless gesture only a liberal would appreciate. On second thought, liberals would hate it. But hey, no surprise in a liberal hating something.

Yes and I do, I raise my own produce and prepare my own meals.!!
Almost every Mexican restaurant in the US is staffed by illegal immigrants, they are paid 3.00 per hour and live 10 to a small apartment provided by the restaurant owners, they come here and are exploited as slaves my Mexican nationals who own the restaurants.!!

No. But they are for closing our borders to illegal immigration. Is that a problem for you ?

Nope, but I don't boycott.
Tougher laws need to be enacted and enforced to punish companies which employ illegals.

I already do and make no bones about it to friends and family. Spread the word!!! In fact, I called ICE on a small business owner who hires all illegals in his warehouse. ( 5 of them ). That business - bye bye! the 5 illegals - bye bye. Assets siezed, building boarded up, bank accounts frozen.
PERIOD! Now that's my definition of "reform" How about "reforming" the enforcement part of the law by actually enforceing it. .....Next.

If we KNOW there are illegals in these resturants, than our Federal Govt needs to go in and enforce the Immigration Laws that we have.
It's really not that complicated.

Then there would be no places to eat!
But that's OK, because no one would be picking the fruit and vegetables anyway.
What we need is a regulated guest-worker program.
