He is, along with the Captain himself, our Navy and FBI.

Obama had sense enough to leave the hard work to professionals, and give them authority to do it. For this he gets my star today. The real hero is that captain, man, Im surprised he can walk, 'cause he got some b*lls. And obviously the Navy SEALS are the best trained military in the world.

Captain Phillips had to Jump twice because Someone Screwed up BIg time.
How in he11 the Captain got the second Chance I would give the Sea Gods the Credit not Obama.
They could have taken him off and got them out way sooner.
Screw Obama. We have the capability they were not allowed.

Yep. Kills pirates in the morning, gives his daughters a puppy in the afternoon, and tonight he's giving Michelle a very special "fist bump," if you know what I mean. Just another day in the office for the FBP.

Can't put down the race card, can you?
The rescue was a success and the administration along with the SEALs deserve credit.

Let's see. When Bush was reading to that class room full of kindergarten students and was told of the attack, he took all of a couple of moments to gather his thoughts and then take action. You squealed like a pig about how long it took. How long did it take your "President" to react to the hostage situation? A week?
The credit goes to the Captain who jumped out of the boat and to the Navy S.E.A.L.s who then took opportunity to take the pricks out.

Credit goes to the Captain for his bravery and to the Navy, but also to Obama for just letting the Navy do their job and handle the situation
Been there

OMG, how many times is this being asked in the last 5 minutes. GET THIS -- The Captain Escaped. He was not rescued until he got away on his own. The Navy gets all credit for being ready -- NOT B.O.

Actually it was Obama who had to eat Crow, initially he didn't want to do anything, but because of the potential backlash from the public, he decided to allow the Navy Seals to do their job.
But, that is just my opinion.

Yes, for not acting like the decider and trusting the Navy unlike Republican Bush with the Iraq WMD intel.

The Navy would have handled it professionally regardless of who was president.
