No people didnt always hate Bush. Bush had a 90% approval rating at one time, something Obama dreams of having. Bush also has Obama beat with 51% approval rating this far into his presidency compared to Obamas 48%.

Obama is not a puppet. Obama is doing what he thinks is right for the country. The media and republicans are influences the citizens that all his plans are to hurt everyone. If the republicans love our country so much, why don't they help out producing jobs and get the economy back on track. Obama is not failing America, it is all the people that are not for Obama that are failing America.

16. FAILED to act (or indeed, to do ANYTHING) for 17 minutes after being informed that on Sept 11, 2001, "America is under attack";

17. FAILED to heed his own National Intelligence Reports, one of which was titled, "Osama bin Laden Determined to Attack the US on Its Own Soil";

18. FAILED to send US troops to Iraq and Afghanistan with the equipment necessary to do the job (some parents of troops [who the President claimed to "support"] had to purchase and send over personal body armor to help keep their kids alive- Bush also sent HMMWVs over with no armor on the doors);

19. FAILED to do anything about Illegal Immigration into the US, although John McCain at the time was all in favor of Amnesty;

20 FAILED to fund or give realistic goals to the ridiculous "No Child Left Behind" Act;

21. FAILED to maintain adequate Federal revenues by giving the wealthiest 2% of the US massive tax cuts;

22. FAILED to explain truthfully how much the "War on Terror" was going to cost, first saying it wouldn't cost the US anything, then it was $6 billion total, then $87 billion, we are now past $2 TRILLION for this war;

23. FAILED to ensure those incarcerated at Guantanamo Bay were treated no worse than any other POWs, (TORTURE? DEATH? Really? Is THAT what America stands for?);

24. FAILED to prosecute hundreds of "detainees", who have been locked away without trial or representation for years. The THREE DETAINEES who WERE prosecuted and convicted are now free and back in their native countries;

25. FAILED to respond to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in a timely and humanitarian manner, warehousing hundreds of people on cots in the Superdome (without food or adequate sanitation facilities), while dead victims slowly decomposed on the streets outside.

26. FAILED to fix the thousands of bridges across the US which are falling apart due to lack of funding (the levees in Louisiana are included in this);

27. FAILED to adequately regulate and ensure that safety devices and remote shut off valves on oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico were in place;

28. FAILED to ensure our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan were getting healthy nutritious rations (Kellogg, Root and Brown were paid $99 per day per soldier to provide meals to the troops, then subcontracted that duty to a Bulgarian company which fed the troops maggot-ridden food and water contaminated by fecal matter for less than $10 per day per soldier);

29. FAILED to investigate the attempted murder of an associate of VP Dick Cheney, BY Dick Cheney when he "accidently" shot the man in the face with a shotgun;

30. FAILED to support the FBI when he allowed 140 members of the bin Laden family (and their entourages) to leave the country before the Feds had a chance to question them about Osama's whereabouts and intentions (while all OTHER flights were grounded foll0wing the Sept 11 attacks)



This is, of course, just the stuff we know about...



In less than 2 years, President Obama has gone a long way to clean up one helluva mess in Washington, while dealing with a Republican Congress which wants to do NOTHING (you know, the "Just Say No" crowd) (furthering Bush's agenda of inaction) and a Supreme Court which has completely disregarded the American people by ruling that Corporations (not even just US corporations) have the right to spend as much money as they wish to get their tame dogs elected.
