Question:
Are the Palins blackmailing CBS?

With their cries for Lettermans resignation, and pressure on advertisers, the palins are extorting CBS and strongarming Lettermans show, into firing him on trumped charges. Should they get away with doing this, abusing their teen daughter in the process?

Dear presidents of CBS,

I would like you to stop this outrageous hate campaign against our beloved host, David Letterman. Mr. Lettermans comments can
in no way be explained to have been directed towards Willow Palin. This is all in the minds of the Palins.
1. He mentioned a daughter getting knocked up, this clearly refers to Bristol Palin, who after all DID get pregnant out of wedlock.
2. He also mentions "her teen daughter" in connection to Spitzer. It's clear that this was about the SAME daughter, since he never in anyway indicated this was about ANOTHER daughter.

So, the charges against him are trumped by the Palins, who immediately cried "no full blown RAPE" and not "statutory rape" either.

Sarah Palins manipulative nature is clearly on display in the interview with Matt Lauer, in which she accussed Letterman of promoting relationships between older men and young women, which is rich, since it's mostly HER supporters who stand firmly behind Mormon-like marriages.

Please, have the courage to not fire David Letterman! He doesn't deserve this because he made A JOKE.
Please look at his long career, and don't fire him because some deeply uncurious woman is using her teen daughters as political tools. Just because they are still ashamed about Bristols pregnancy-out-of-wedlock and still unwed status, doesn't mean Mr. Letterman should have to suffer.

Sincerely,

(name)

No,they are using their right as Americans to speak out against Letterman making jokes about their 14 year-old daughter being raped by an overrated, overpaid, steroid enhanced Baseball Player.I would say that Letterman should research his jokes a little better though, after all with all the steroids A-Rod has had in his career he is most certainly sterile and impotent by now.

Anyone with half a brain considers his comments offensive.Only a moron would consider what he did acceptable. If we start making jokes about the Obama daughters getting knocked up,is that cool?

There are in user-friendly terms 3 possbilities. A. She is gearing up for a run in 2012 and is going to start up brushing up on subject concerns and traveling the rustic. (yet usual awareness wouldve been to stay in place of work longer) (yet Obama did teach which you may have actually 0 adventure and nevertheless get elected president) B. The media assaults have been given to her, shes executed all she had to do as a pacesetter, and is getting out of management. (attainable, yet God i'm hoping not) C. there is a few unknown scandal that hasnt broke yet. (yet who resigns earlier the scandal even comes out?) nevertheless unanswered at this element yet while her objective is to make a run, shes coming up a ton of media hype to help her later!

You're sadly uninformed....the petitions are grass-roots uprisings to support a very popular conservative against unwarranted attacks - they aren't instigated by the Palins who have a full life. Letterman has joined the failing leftist media by exposing their ideology - Americans don't like it !

Thanks for advertising the petitions, I'll sign them and go looking for more !

Sarah Barracuda is pressing her 15 minutes of fame into 2:45. It's ALL about free publicity, nothing more.

Letterman's viewership has gone through the roof. No advertisers have made serious threats about pulling their ad dollars. CBS is all about the money. As long as the dollars roll in, Letterman is more than safe.

"Mr. Lettermans comments can

in no way be explained to have been directed towards Willow Palin." > Bull!

For the record I think people should just turn the channel. That's the American way to deal with this. (or used to be before the p.c. thugs came along)

I think Letterman made a mistake by apologizing.

This was nothing more than another sad, failed attempt by Sarah Palin at staying relevant.

Her supporters were devastated when caribou barbie didn't get elected VP, so they are desperate to attack anyone who dares to besmirch her 'good' name.

A case could be made that money is blackmailing CBS, and they pulled Dave's testicles. No sponsors no show Dave....

Consumers, and business people can think for themselves despite all the media attempts to market us to believe Dave's BS is "normal, and mainstream" behavior.
