I think it will be a package deal.

Both at once.

You know, God forbid the people that caused the "CRISIS" pay for it!

I am looking at you Big Banks and Wall St.

Why we should pay for their screw up is still a mystery to me. Maybe we should ask Republicans why it is the lower and middle class need to pay for a deficit we had nothing to do with.

They are not going to put millions of people into poverty and sickness by cutting out these programs. That is complete nonsense. What they will do is de-fund Medicaid from the federal government so the states can drop it since the states cannot foot the bill with federal funds,or in the case of Wisconsin, eliminate Medicaid after July when their stimulus funds run out which is paying for Wisconsin Medicaid, or they will extend social security retirement age to 69, get higher premiums from wealthy enrollees, reduce Medicare Advantage extra payments to doctors, render some people ineligible for Medicaid, such as new immigrants, senior immigrants or others who did not pay taxes before.

LOL. That is funny.

You know, the Dems are the ones who cut the elderly off their Medicare last month, don't you? They had to find a network and their physicians and medications must be in that network? Or tough luck? If Medicare ends, it will be to make way for Obamacare.

Also, the elderly on Social Security haven't had a simple cost-of-living raise since Obama took office? They won't get one this year either? They got one annually under Bush.

I am a conservative. I am in favor of phasing out Social Security and Medicare. I currently get benefits from both programs.

Obamacare cut $500 Billion from Medicare. Odd that you're just now becoming concerned for the program.

Why would anybody put any effort into abolishing social security? It'd be like sending an assassin to kill a 103 year old cancer patient infected with Ebola.

The system is going to die soon on it's own, like all Ponzi schemes do.

Neither is true in the least, which is of course WHY all Democrats say they are.

Conservatives simply wish to ALLOW THE OWNERS to have SOME control of THEIR property. I'm not sure why YOU personally are TERRIFIED by the idea of not having YOUR choices canceled by FORCE but I do know you ARE and that's WHY you're a Democrat.

Abolish? wow...ignoring your desperate tone... It would be wise to re-calibrate many governmental programs, but surely the wisest of all would be to focus on the elimination of fraud, including those who have access to federal programs under false means.
