A man dose not owe nothing to his brother at birth nor dose his brother owe him. If a brother is in need, the other brother can either give to him what is rightly entitled to him for free or too further his own self-interest.
Man has no obligation to give what is theirs to anyone. To donate to the poor is to pamper your self-esteem and or ego or possibly convenience. Donating a penny so you don't have to keep it in your pocket or just not caring enough about your personal-property to donate. But all stem from self-interest.
If your self-esteem is linked to what society projects you will try to fill that requirement. You will eventually feed the collective and not yourself or at least not to your full self.
Your goal should never have a ending point, the greatness of his man is to push on principle of self to he can neither fail nor succeed.
To clarify this imagine life as a line that starts on a dot. the line is not limitless it has a limit just as your life. Were you want the dot to drop is what your aspiration is. You should never put down the second dot you should pass the point were you want it to be till the line ends. Great men never feel there's a point of putting the second dot down.
Fellow men are weak but you can only influence them with your words and actions otherwise they will never lift themselves. Trying to lift them is trying to make a dead man stand.
Charity should be reserved to people unable to take a step forward not people who simply refuse too.
I owe no one anything.
