One of the Liberal adverts in the last election suggested that if Stephen Harper was in power we'd have troops in the streets in Canada. Do Liberals ever feel as though they've been manipulated by the party or by liberal media pundits?

There is nothing worse than a Liberal trying to get re-elected, even worse than the New Democratic Party.

They will say anything to scare the voters and the media is generally only too willing to toady up to the Liberal Party of Canada.

Canadian society has become weak and spineless. Anyone can move here regardless of their background, and rearley run the risk of being deported.

There may not be troops in the streets because the War Measures Act was made null and void by Mulroney.

We are spending a couple billion on new ships, planes and bases under the current PC regime. We are losing soldiers every day in Afghanistan and we are going to have to defend our Arctic Border from the Americans ,Russians and Norwegians within the next decade. There should be troops in the streets to oust the traitors in the Parti Quebecoise and Bloc and exile them to France where they belong. But Harper dosen't care about Canada, Just like every other PC PM before him, he will sell us out to the highest bidder and retire to Fla. or Calif. and come back for free healthcare and his pension cheque at his leisure. As far as Dion goes.... he's only keeping Justin Trudeau's seat warm until the next election.

Harper is pulling his punches because he's in minority. That being said, the sky did not fall when the Conservatives were elected.

I'm from downtown Toronto, where `Conservative' is a swear word. How can you get any work done when people are smoking pot and playing bongos outside your apartment window? In broad daylight? On a weekday? How can you think clearly when this is considered normal?

In 2006, I moved to a conservative part of the country for less than one year and came back a changed man.

The Conservatives were depicted as a bunch of cattle-rustling, cowboy-hatted racist yahoos. That depiction is not entirely true.

I hope you realise that this isn't a Liberal thing, all of the parties lie or exaggerate, especially during campaigns. Always listen to politicians with skepticism or you will end up being very bitter indeed. Welcome to the world of politics.

Thats because he has sent them to Afghanistan to try and clean up his buddy, Bush's mess and they are dying there.
