Question:
Whew, now that gas prices are going down, who's buying a pickup or SUV?

I'm going to ditch the Chevy Aveo I bought and get a F-150, my wife is going to buy a Hummer H2, we're so relieved gas prices have gone down!

I thought gas prices were going to stay up! I hated the Aveo so much, pickups have so much room!

Still have my SUV and keeping it. I'm so thankful during the high gas price times that I live less than a mile from where I work.

Never let go of the family Escalade EXT (maybe 4 years old now i think)...the only change we made was trading in my 645ci for a new altima which went to my dad...gotta love trucks man, enjoy the F150, I'd love to get one at some point. And who doesn't like Hummers but I'm sure that's gotta one of the bigger gas guzzlers right? hopefully gas stays where it is for awhile, unfortunately depending on who gets elected the market could make gas prices change for the worse again.

Edit: ah yes perhaps in my joy of answering I did not at first catch your sarcasm, which your question now does appear to be. Sorry I didn't get the joke if thats what you were going for...but to some people: multiply 15 times 4 and then 15 times 2...which one is better? Some of us really have kept the suv's/trucks that we bought a few years ago throughout this whole thing...calm down

Sorry I stress a truck. i % one for paintings. i'm unable to hold ladders and all my procedures and areas interior the back of a motor vehicle. What could you have me do? and there is not any element in me finding out to purchase a motor vehicle to apply whilst not at paintings. fairly of paying $250 extra a month for gas i could be paying $350-4 hundred on motor vehicle money. i'm against ANWAR/extra offshore drilling, yet i'm the only that receives harm the main via extreme gas costs. My Dad's employer's gas bill for final month replaced into over 20 grand and he basically runs 19 trucks. And in the event that they weren't trucks or super trucks the employer does not have the skill to function. For the checklist i'm a college pupil, i don't paintings for my dad, and that i pay for all my own costs which incorporates gas.

I have a Jeep Wrangler I bought last year, when the gas prices were around $2.50/gallon. Right after that, the prices shot up, and I haven't really had a chance to enjoy the Jeep like I wanted to. But now, if they keep falling like they have been, they should be $2.00/gallon real soon in my area ($2.14/gallon yesterday afternoon!), and I can have the fun that I bought it for.

I'm guessing you are joking here, but I never really did understand this...

Prices hit $ 2.00 / gallon and people scream bloody murder. Then it hits $4.00 / gallon and they scream bloody murder.

Prices "drop" to $ 3.00 / gallon and suddenly, everything is just fine.

Like sheep led to the slaughter.

While $2.70 is not $4.50 it is still not cheap.
