Is anyone else completely sick of all this political correctness, and worrying about offending people?? What's the big deal, they check our shoes, so obviously they're gonna want to check hats!!

Anyone surprised by who is complaining about this issue? Not me! Racial profiling works and needs to be implemented whenever applicable. People profile and racial profile all the time, but it's taboo when security or law enforcement does it!

You have to remember, to a liberal, asking to serach someones turban is racial profiling, as the liberals embrace islam to start with. I fail to see how a turban is a race. Perhaps, we cold just ban all hats, and make it fair, right libs? I'll bet they would then scream about a "right" that has been taken away. I read no where that turbans are a right, and highly doubt that the founding fathers meant that people should not be searched at an airport, following a terrorist attack by people wearing turbans..... If my religion said i should carry a firearm everywhere i go, would i be allowed to take my firearm on the plane, citing religious rights? Or is that another "right" reserved for liberal supporters wearing turbans?

Hey, you never know Ninjarabbit, that 80 year old white woman might just try something on an airplane. I mean, just because every plane hijacking has been performed by someone from the Middle East just goes to show that another group of people are due to start hijackings.



Okay, now that the sarcasm is done, it doesn't make much sense to me to interview a black guy if the suspect is described as being white. Just like it doesn't make much sense to me to have random searches of little old ladies trying to get on airplanes while Middle Easterners walk on because the airline is affraid of a racial discrimination lawsuit.

Anything the next Muslim gets upset about. If they truly loved America as much as most Americans do, they'd be happy security is looking out for us. It just rings wrong that on any little thing they are the first to step up to the plate and tell us all about civil rights. There is a good reason security is checking under hats now. It is not to upset Muslims.

This is not racial profiling because they are checking everyones hats, of all races. the shieks want preferential treatment and when they dont get it they cry racism! What total BS.



And BTW you are right we only have so much law enforcement, should they be focusing on little old grannies or young middle eastern men like the ones who have killed people all around the world in terrorist acts. If middle easterners didnt do so many terrorist acts, maybe people wouldnt be suspicious of them!

Racial profiling is just racism. This group X is Y- which is often an inaccurate generalization.



Clearly you are not a minority in any way or else you wouldn't feel so flippant about it.



Private citizens are allowed to be racist and have whatever feelings they want, it is really different for the state to sanction racism and act on it. The government is supposed to be above that.

police do racially profile in traffic stops. but most of the contraband is found in cars driven by whites, not cars driven by blacks. of course, police stop the black drivers a lot more.



black drivers are well aware of this so they don't carry contraband in their cars.



while they are racially profiling, someone might be putting ecoli and salmonella in our spinach.



israel racially profiles. they still have terrorism.
