Don't you laugh when low-informed Obama supporters say the unemployment is down while failing to mention the fact that more people work less?

Hours? And how the fail to mention black unemployment is up and that many STOPPED looking for work and the unemployment number doesn't actually count those? And what about them talking about the stock market? Are they trolls or do they not realize how it got that way?

The people that suffer from "hero worship" will never, ever admit that Obama has been terrible for this nation's economy.

They decided that if one person has 2 or 3 low-paying part-time jobs without benefits, instead of one well-paying full-time job with benefits is a good thing for the economy. ...even if the Labor Force Participation Rate hasn't been this bad since the 1970's.

By the way, the unemployment rate went up last month. We lost a lot more manufacturing jobs...an amount we haven't seen since the Great Recession. We're likely in a recession right now. In fact, the economic forecasters have a worse outlook for the future in April 2016 than they did in April 2008...when we were actually IN the Great Recession.

The new era keeps saying that being 70 is the new 60. 60 is the new 50, 50 the new 40,

Well, now they expect you to just accept that 30hrs is the new 40hrs. While still expecting you to pay the same taxes and live the same lifestyle. Ever wonder why $15 is the new $7.25?

It's all lies. From 70 is the new 60 right down to $15 is the new $7.25 and 30hrs is the new full time 40hrs.

Don't you laugh when low-information insulated sheltered conservatives with very little understanding of what goes on outside their borders don't realize their country is performing better than most at the moment? Guess you haven't been keeping up on current events, sunshine?

MOST people I am aware of who are saying unemployment is down are simply using the EXACT SAME METRIC used to track it that has been used since the REAGAN era....."Part-time" workers are never included in that number, and neither are Seasonal workers!

You may be an imbecile....you should get that checked!

Hours of work has actually remained relatively stable, even throughout the recessionary period. The average hours worked across all industries was 38.8 in March of 2016. In the trough of the recession, say 2009, it was about 38.0.

How do you figure people are working less?

U6, the worst possible unemployment number including people who "stopped looking for work" is less than 10%, and less than Bush had it. For GOD'S SAKE turn off Fox News.

There are almost 100 million adult Americans who do not work at all, and about 120 million adult Americans with full time jobs. The second group must support the first group. Is this really "self-sustaining"?

Only when uninformed conservatives fail to realize just how many people are actually retiring and leaving the workforce; that number never seems to factor in the cons calculations of unemployment.

If they're working less hours, means they have a job idiot!

Site your source that says people are working less hours? I call BS on that.
