Question:
Are Goldberg and O'Reilly right? Are the birthers just a leftist plot to make conservatives look insane?
2009-07-30 09:03:31 UTC
Goldberg: Now let's think about this for a second. Why wouldn't President Obama release his birth certificate? He was born in Hawaii, Hawaii last I checked is in the United States, and -- why in the world wouldn't he release his birth certificate?

O'Reilly: Can I answer that question?

Goldberg: Well, let me answer it first. OK? Let me just answer my own question first.

O'Reilly: OK, you answer it, and then I'll have the correct answer.

Goldberg: I have a theory. And the theory is this: That the Chicago Mafia inside the White House want to keep this crazy controversy going. Because the longer it goes, the better the chance that they will conflate the crazy right-wing fringe with regular conservatives and regular Republicans.

O'Reilly: That's not a bad theory.

matter on your man or woman theory of fact. Your have been presented some technological awareness books giving many concept's and instructed allot of those are unproven, yet you think them becuase you opt for to. Personaly I excelled at math and technological awareness at college and maximum scientific concept makes valid experience. the thought of evolution, no person has shown something the two way and is great open for interpretation. worldwide warming is in accordance with very undesirable technological awareness. a similar scientist have been confident of an eminent worldwide freeze interior the 70's. immediately's undertaking relies greater on politics than technological awareness. pass till now and all the scientist could not be persuade otherwise the worldwide grew to become into flat and killed 1000's that challenged it. The bible is presented interior a similar way. You the two decide for to have faith it or you do not. do away with our your man or woman time table and opinion and clarify to me the actual distinction. in the adventure that your being trouble-free you might have the potential to present day one.

An excellent question. I would like to dismiss the birthers claims, but then again why is the birth certificate such a secret? Why are Obama's college records locked up? There is something fishy here but I don't know what it is.

Hey, it's a thought but hardly worth discussing. Lowering the bar to a level that defies logic is for the fringes. I was surprised to see O'reilly stooping to the gutter with this report, it seemed to me that he had moved past the dumb issues, but I guess he needed a filler. And just so you know, Goldberg never was any kind of reasonable political pundit, more like a disgruntled, disenfranchised ex news print reporter who happens to be friends with O'reilly.... Just my opinion:)

Gee.... let's ALL mindlessly ignore the fact that Obama paid $100,000 and hired 3 law firms to FIGHT against ANY attempt to release records.

Let's all mindlessly IGNORE the fact that his OWN grand mother says she was present at his birth in Kenya.

Let's all mindlessly IGNORE the fact that since Pappa was NOT a citizen, and hippy-momma was NOT in the US for 5 years prior to his birth, the laws in affect at the time make it CLEAR that he is a "naturalized" citizen, and NOT a NATURAL BORN citizen, as required by the Constitution.

Let's chant "hope and change" and MINDLESSLY IGNORE all the FACTS leading up to this .... and simply believe that Conservatives had nothing else to do today but make up a silly conspiracy........

NO WONDER no one can take Liberals seriously. You all actually DO think this way.

The flaw in that logic, and with the "birther" movement, is that Obama HAS released his birth certificate. It's on the internet, and Hawaiian officials have certified that yes, it's real!

Conservatives don't need any help looking insane. The past 8 years under Bush is proof of that.

O'Reilly didn't say he agreed with the theory, he just said it wasn't a bad theory.

Goldberg couldn't be more wrong though.

Haha....so, we are making them act crazy? Perhaps if they were rational, intelligent people, they would realize that THEY are the ones saying and believing these things, and that the President issued his BC BEFORE he became President, back in August 2008.
