You are full of elephant dung. He has NOT taken sides and has maintained a neutral stance, but consistently speaks out against the violence making use of the words "unjust" or "justice" because of its importance in the Muslim religion of Iran. He HAS to stay neutral, and said, when a reporter asked whether Lindsey Graham calling his response "timid and weak" had any influence on his reaction, to which he replied, with his characteristic wide grin, "What do you think?" Everyone laughed, and he then went on to say basically that no matter what senators might say (who are not usually the policy-makers), "I am the President" and reiterated what he has said all along that he "will NOT allow Iran to use the U.S. or our CIA as a foil", which is what would happen if he takes sides. Eric Kanter ((R)-VA actually committed an act perilously close to treason Saturday morning when he tried to second-guess our Commander-in-Chief, our President, and grab himself a little TV airtime to "support" the demonstrators (what he actually did was put them at risk) and to call for "regime change" (EXACTLY what the Ayatollah, Supreme leader was waiting to hear, because he cited this "American statesman" in his speech that same day to "prove" U.S. involvement, which immediately sparked massive chants of "Death to America" in the huge audience). We have NO business butting into Iran's internal affairs, unless of course you think Iran should have decided the real outcome of our own 2000 fiasco. All President Obama did was speak against the violence against their own people (which is actually occurring on both sides, albeit unevenly so), but careful to use the word "unjust" in a subtle message to the Iranian leaders. Henry Kissinger, Brent Skowcroft, Colin Powell, George Will, Iranian reporters in the U.S., experts on the Middle-East---all of these people have backed President Obama's approach as the very best one, and he has the backbone to hold the course---even with all you nutjob warmongers pushing for more "fake cowboy bravado" while complaining about being in debt from the costs of waging wars...Morons! If there is no regime change, and it does appear as if that is the case, all Kanter succeeded in doing with his little "upstage the President" political opportunism is set back diplomacy efforts and justify in the Ayatollah's mind the use of violent force---all because yet another right-wing loudmouth neglected to put his brain in gear before running his foolish mouth. He now has blood on his hands...the traitor!
