42% of all income earners pay no federal income taxes. Obozo presents another for FY 2013 that starts in October 2012. The projected deficit is over $1.3 TRILLION. The Senate hasn't passed a budget in over 1020 days.

In order to save the country, is it time that everyone pay their fair share of federal income taxes?

I'm with you. The rich can be patriotic, too. No more Cayman Island accounts and tax loopholes that have them paying zilch. Not even asking them to give up their yachts, just a little bit. If all of the 1% gave $20,000, that'd be a lot more than they give now and might help the economy for the rest of us. I'm with you.

With 46 million Families on Food stamps and hundreds of thousands losing their jobs every week you want to tax more????

Remember T E A. Taxed enough already. How about we get the government to cut spending, then rearrange the tax code. Fairness, like beauty, is in the mind of the beholder.

You pay 3% more no matter how much or how little you make. You pay it on ALL income-SSI, child support- EVERYTHING>
