I don't completely understand what the reform will do, and i'm just wondering what will happen to me. i'm 16 years old, and i've got some health problems. My doctors, and all the specialists i have, can't figure out what's wrong, but i'm getting very weak. i'm wondering, if this reform happens, what's going to happen to me?

Insurance companies will no longer be able to deny covering you due to pre-existing conditions. But if the reforms fail, they can use death panels to do so still.

FACT - Insurance companies in the USA admit to pushing up prices, buying politicians and not paying out claims when they should [1]

FACT - PER PERSON the USA spends more on healthcare than any other nation on the planet [2]

FACT - Obama debated his plans before the election for healthcare [3]

FACT - the chance of a child under five of dying in the USA is greater than industrialised nations with universal health coverage [4]

FACT - Obama was elected to bring in change [5]

FACT - Obama wants to stop insurance companies from screwing America [6]

FACT - The reforms Obama wants work in the Netherlands and Switzerland [7]

Let me know if my facts are wrong, but please provide proof.

Depending on your current insurance coverage (parents' employer, Medicaid, the CHIP program), you will be in a much better position with regard to your medical condition and economic responsibilities if health care reform passes. Medicaid coverage expands in all states (the federal government will reimburse for the additional costs), young adults will be able to maintain their parental coverage until the age of 26, and CHIP will receive extra coverage.

Good luck to you in your quest for a medical solution for your condition.

Well if you or your parents can not afford insurance you will have to the pay the federal government $695.

If it does pass and you have insurance you will have to pay more for insurance. Most likely several doctors will leave the profession. Medical companies will stop investing money to find new cures.

I hope for your sake this does not pass, I am sorry the Democrats have put you in this position.

It is going to drive up costs and ration care.

If you were in the UK and under the NHS they would be running tab on you and when you got too expensive, they would tell you sorry you cost to much you have to live with it or die.

This is what Maobama wants to do. He wants to ration care because you can't save money on the healthy. You can only save money from rationing care to the sick.

Your parents will be able to have you on their policy until you are 26.
