Americans named government as the top problem facing the country in 2015, choosing that issue over the economy, unemployment, immigration, and other issues, according to survey results released Monday.

An average of 16 percent of Americans in 2015 said some aspect of government — including President Obama, Congress or political conflict — was the country’s top problem, according to Gallup.

It’s the second straight year that Americans picked government as the top problem, after the economy was No. 1 for six straight years and Iraq was No. 1 for four straight years before that.

In 2015, the economy was second at 13 percent, followed by unemployment and immigration at 8 percent apiece.

That is the stupidest poll question and the stupidest connection I have seen made in a long time. So 16% of the people identified some aspect of government as a "problem"-conservatives probably thing Obama is the problem, while liberals think the GOP controlled Congress is the problem. That doesn't show agreement on anything, and 16% is still a very small percentage. But connecting it to the Oregon issue is insane. The poll doesn't NOT show that even 16% of the population supports armed revolt against the government!

No surprise

The GOP vowed to obstruct Obama inauguration day ... it had no intention to listen to his proposals as it already made up their mind to be against ...

That caused the DC gridlock people are unhappy about ...

"Poll: GOP more to blame for gridlock"

Subsequently, the rep Congress approval rating is a dismal 15% ...

... while Obama's ranking is 3 times better at 45%.

Thanks for bringing this up. It's important America never lose sight of the harm the GOP has done to America.

Righties are upset w/ DC because of the gridlock their politicians caused but they blame Obama ... it's hilarious. Too bad they aren't smart enough to follow the trail.

It would be a shame to reward the GOP w/ the election in 2016 for the underhanded/counter productive politics. I'm sure the GOP and America wouldn't want the dems stooping that low.

Government is now and has been since Obama took the Koran

in his hand a swore allegiance to Mohammad. That he would do

his level best to screw over the United States of America. Just

Like he successfully has. And some of these boys in Oregon are

expressing their fundamental rights to protest the situation Obama

has created.
