Question:
Have any of you actually seen the Zapruder film on the assassination of JFK?

I am not a big believer in conspiracy theories but cannot justify the Warren Commission findings either. I never did believe that the final fatal shot came from the rear. I actually believe there was more than one shooter that day in Dallas sad to say. America has never been the same since either.

Yes I have seen it, many times, including the newly restored and digitally enhanced version.

We know the final shot came from the rear. This is indisputable for a number of reasons.

1. The only plausible sniper positions from the front either don't have the shot or would have had to shoot through the windshield. Clearly no bullet went through the windshield.

2. How a body moves when hit by a bullet is not nearly so simplistic as you make it out to be. How his head moves tells you nothing about where the shot came from.

3. Here in a America several different forensic recreations have been undertaken duplicating the conditions of that day as well as computer simulations. All demonstrated that all the shots came from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building and duplicated the wounds (including the contentious head movement) with almost un-canny accuracy. Most of this is available on Youtube - some links below.

I was born in 1961. I could not have avoided seeing it dozens of times.

NOVA just did an exceptional investigation, and they concluded with absolute certainty that the fatal shot came from behind, based on the pattern of radiating cracks in Kennedy's skull.

They proved absolutely that the fatal shot could not have come from the grassy knoll.

The head snap was the result of a massive convulsion due to sudden and catastrophic neurological damage to the brain. Kennedy's muscles spasmed in response to his brain exploding, and that happened to be the direction the muscles moved. A bullet could not have moved his head that violently in any direction.

They also showed that the Magic Bullet theory is consistent with physical evidence. They fired the same kind of bullet from the same kind of gun through pine boards, and determined it was possible for the bullet to penetrate two persons, including bone strikes, and emerge with minimal damage to the bullet, as was found on the stretcher.

The Oswald the Lone Shooter theory is completely supported by all available evidence, and there is nothing that contradicts it.

We went thru the same thing during the twentieth anniversary of the assassination. So many conspiracy theories and no real support for any of them. I have seen the film many times in my life and I still think there was only one shooter, Oswald. I just finished reading a newer Steven King book 11/22/63, you might like it.

Watch the PBS Nova show that just came out.

It's pretty interesting. They show how some of the things you see in the Zapruder film can be explained. They don't say "this is the only way it could have happened," but they DO show how the evidence fits the official explanation.

The audio evidence cited here was always controversial and recent technological improvements have absolutely established it as invalid.

About a thousand times. Oswald shot him. If there were other people involved we will probably never know.
