As 2017 draws to a close, Donald Trump has blown the record for presidential first year vacation days out of the water. Trump spent nearly one-third (111 days) of his first year in office on vacation. In contrast, Barack Obama took 26 vacation days during the first year of his presidency.

What a joke! FYI, Trump uses his resort to entertain other world leaders. Those aren't vacations. Obama holds the record for most lavish vacations, most days off. Your article shows the first year only. It doesn't matter because it's so misleading on so many levels. Check out a real investigative site with dollar amounts and timelines. WRONG. While President Trump set a record for golfing (it's not shocking, nor is it for laziness) , he gets exercise and he works on the golf course having dignitaries join him as they discuss politics and world affairs. That's why there is no outrage because Trump got more accomplished in his first few months in office than Obama did in 8 years.

President Trump rarely takes any time off from his job as our President. The man sleeps about 4 hours daily and even while on the golf course, is busy keeping up with what's going on around the world and with current projects he's working on. He's in constant contact with people working for his presidency and handles everything that comes up immediately. I once talked to our plant manager, and he told me people would be very surprised how much business is actually handled on a golf course or at a dinner table. It doesn't all happen in the Board Room.
