Why are Trump supporters so upset that Trump will be impeached for his crimes when they know that he won't be convicted anyway?

When Clinton was impeached there was a crime nobody denied, perjury, multiple times. There was disagreement whether it rose to the level of a high crime or misdemeanor.



When Nixon was threatened with impeachment there were many serious crimes everyone agreed on, forcing Nixon's resignation.



Big difference in those two cases, REAL CRIMES, REAL BIPARTISAN SUPPORT, AN ACTUAL FAIR HEARING OF THE FACTS FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS.



This is a new precedent. The railroading of a president by a simple majority in the House.

They will be more disappointed if he is not reelected which is very likely to happen unless there is a third party candidate to split reduce the Democratic vote. The reason for this is that Trump won do to very close races in swing states and eh is now losing support in those states so that he only has 40% of the votes and this is now weak that is he is losing some of those as he gets into more and more trouble. If he loses even one of the swing states he is doomed but he is in danger of losing more than one. If someone gets disgruntled and runs as a third party candidate they could split the Democratic vote which is the only way he can in given the current situation but things can always change. so it is pretty early to predict.
