When this is accomplished and the people of Iraq are free and living in a Democracy. What would be the outcome of them Democratically electing an Anti-American government. If it is not to our liking and we get them out of power, then there really never was Democracy.

We're not giving, we're imposing. And that's a good question. If this ever is fully accomplished (and that's a big if), I can't really see the U.S. letting them control it.

Democracy isn't given, it is created from within, by the people. Having an outside governmental body "give" a country democracy is rediculous.

A democracy is a form of government designed to control the government that oversees it. It is not a gift, transferrable or tangible. There is no "secret recipe" that other countries simply haven't figured out yet.

The question you should ask instead is will the DEMOCRATIC government be effective. Think post cold war easter Europe where democratic governments are formed by coalition with many parties, as many as hundreds of parties. The result is a non-cohesive, indecisive, un-cooperative, and unfocussed government.

Thats probably where Iraq is headed looking at the amount of sectarian divisions and divisions on tribal lines.

to make certain which you to peacefully proceed to be living in a democracy, the international places that pose a danger to america could desire to get replaced to make certain that us to maintain liberty. they did no longer request replace, and the flaws you hear on the media are actually not what they're made out to be. they could physician despite they pick. there is replace taking place there. this is going to never be spoken of when you consider that democrats which carry maximum individuals of the positions in the media, are desperate to set President Bush on his downfall. Our democracy took extra beneficial than 2 hundred years to develop. What makes human beings think of that the democracy Bush is attempting to advise in different international places is going to take place in one day? it somewhat is a artwork in progression. They did ask for it by way of enacting 9/11. human beings do no longer stand for that without reaction.

You take Viet Nam as an example. It is one country now and 25 years later they have a thriving economy and American tourism is big.

I say the U.S. needs to stop interfering with other countries cultures and let them decide what is good for them.

An 'American" democracy is too radical a change. They need a Free Islamic Democracy...............of their own design.
