now the Obama haters are trying to reclassify them?

I suspect it is because they know that George W. Bush's took 120 vacation days after 18 months in office.
President Obama took 65 days vacation after his 18 months in office.

One example out of thousands:

"That’s what White House spokesman Gordon Johndroe had to say, as the president resumed his vacationing at his ranch in Crawford, Texas.

It must be nice to live in Wonderland, where we’re winning the war and vacation is the order of the day. Remember “stay the course?” Most people think it’s the punch line of a bad joke. This administration seems to believe it, still." Fox News

Because Hypocrisy is all republicans know.

Did ya just see the question about Obama with his feet on the desk?

Oh HORRORS!!!!!!!! He's DISRESPECTING the RESOLUTE DESK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Cue the 200 pictures of Bush, Ford, Nixon and Reagan, all with their feet up on the same desk. )

something like 100 pictures of Bush alone. Some leaning back with his eyes closed.

With advisors in the room .

That explains alot.

This could explain the first four years but why did he get elected the second term if people did not like his administration? I see his father was a one term president as Bush Senior said *READ my lips~ No new taxes* and then he raised the taxes and he got the Boot Obama said about the same thing as Bush Jr...and when the people see their taxes go up and unemployment stays high~~and the wars keep going on Then we will give the Democrats and Obama the bums rush

Because that's how the White House referred to them, e.g.:

"White House officials point out that the president is never off the clock. They refer to the 30 days at his Texas ranch — now it's called the Western White House — as a working vacation. He'll receive daily national security updates and handle the duties of the Oval Office from his 1,583-acre spread near Crawford."

So now the libs say it is wrong to for a president to work from home to avoid the libs in washington.

Maybe he should have taken a real vacation or spent as much time bashing the previous administration like Obama.

I remember Obama saying that "Everyone has skin in the game." Now tell me what Michelles trip to Spain cost the taxpayers. It looks to me like everyone has skin in the game except liberal politicians.

I'm not reclassifying anything here. They take vacations at taxpayers expense in a terrible economy and expect everyone to look the other way. Obama stated he wants transparency...he's getting it.

Working Vacation was the classification at the time and the Crawford ranch was set up as the western White House most Golf courses are not.

The President is always at work, no matter where he is.

That's not exclusive with Bush.

It applies to Obama as well.

I have no problem with any president taking a vacation. With modern communications and huge staffs, the work continues to be done. I prefer to focus on the pathetic policies of the failed Obama Administration.

Because it cost the taxpayer millions of dollars each time he did it, when he was elected to work in Washington, not frigginn Texas.

He cooked his own food and stayed for free. No one is complaining if the Obama's go back to their home in Chicago.

Did you know that while Bush was in TX that he entertained heads of state? And had his staff there working with him? One does not need to be AT the White House to get things done but you already knew that didn't you?

Whats the matter you don't like Queen Obama being criticized?
