Normally when Jesse Jackson was previously running for the presidency, he was all about minority group awareness, but he hasn't really been saying anything at all during Borack Obama's campaign. I know he is still for minority group awareness, but he seems to be laying low when an actual minority group member is at the lead of the presidental race. So where is Jesse Jackson?

Jackson has been a strong Clinton supporter to gain what he wants to see happen. As with many others, the Clinton-Obama confrontation has put him in a bind - while it would seem obvious he should support "his" minority, if Obama has no chance of winning, then such support would cost him influence. And as we can see from the comments around, both Clinton and Obama are minorities in the race for the presidency. If either one wins, it will be a new record and there are people who might vote Democrat who will never vote for a woman or a black and thus may not vote this year or vote Republican - because we know he's a good Vet.

Jesse Jackson is the kiss of death to any campaign, ask Ned Lamont of Connecticut, during that campaign he defeated Joe Lieberman during the democrat primary for U.S senate. Lamont had Jackson, Sharpton campaigning for him, Lamont eventually went to lose the general election Obama knows that Jackson and even Sharpton are a turn off to white voters, he wants voters to forget race and those 2 clowns will bring it to the surface. The truth is Barak Hussein Obama is not only black, he is a Muslim and a crack smoker.

Obama is hiding Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton somewhere that they can't talk to reporters. Didn't you see SNL?

Those 2 are ticking timebombs. Slick Barry Obama, on the other hand, is the smoothest talking kid in town.

Right. He is staying away so he don't get in the war zone. They will be picking away at Obama and Jackson don't need any body diging into his impire.Obama will be dragged thru the streets, so to speak, and no body wants to go with him. We aint seen nothing yet. Good day.

Obama has probably told him to stay away. All Jackson would do is drive all Obama's white voters away. You know that Obama is half white don't you, and old Jesse hates the white man.

I think he supports Obama... but has been laying low because Obama doesn't need Black support... He has it. He needs white and brown support and Jackson is divisive in those communities.

Part 2 is I think he is hedging his bets and doesn't want to piss Hillary or Bill off.

Hiding, because he wants nothing to do with this campaign, most likely. It's odd for him to be so quite, so there has to be some reason for it.

Far away, cause all he does his damage credibility for anybody he supports. He has a agenda and anyone with a brain doesn't want him near them.
