The promise of a fast lane might sound great but in fact it isn't, because the "fast lane" is actually the same internet speed that you would have gotten before the removal of net neutrality, while the "regular lane" is just the same lane that has been squeezed to slow down and restrict the speed of data download.
The other problem with the removal of net neutrality is that it gives ISPs absolute power over internet speeds. Your ISP may also provide services like cable tv and mobile phone services, things which are quickly being replaced by streaming services such as Hulu and Netflix and Instant messaging services like Facebook. If net neutrality is removed then you shouldn't be surprised when sites as mentioned above load a lot slower than they normally would. This requires the users and/or the service provider to pay a fee to the ISP to return the download rate to what it previously was, which will be harmful to providers and users alike.
So, do you support net neutrality?
