Liberals and Democrats tell us how smart they are and how much money they make, yet they always want the minimum wage raised?

Doesn't this PROVE beyond and shadow of a doubt that Liberals and Democrats are BY FAR our Most Unproductive, Least Qualified, Least Skilled and Poorest Citizens?

Isn't this also a Vote Buying Scam to Convince our Vermin to Vote for Democrats?

Someone tell me what Decent Person would have anything to do with being a Democrat?

I'm not liberal or Democrat, but I believe we should have a living wage. Y'all rely on 'unskilled' labor a lot more than you think. You'd see how 'worthless' it is if it stopped getting done. People that work hard shouldn't have to pick between paying bills, buying food, and getting their kids some decent shoes. I will say that people in this situation shouldn't have a whole litter of kids though.



It wouldn't hurt anything to raise it to $10 an hour. Believe me, employers always make sure they get their money's worth and then some out of these poor people.



Sure, do away with minimum wage. I won't work for $5 an hour. I'll find a way to leach instead. I wouldn't want to have to, but I would.

I don't think anyone in the GOP has a plan that doesn't involve taking away from the barely surviving to save their own fat asses. I say screw them and let's all go down together. And they refuse to take a modest hike in their income taxes to help us through this. They killed the cash cow, the golden goose and America's future for their own personal fortune. Why should we work for less? Lessen the profits at the top or sink is my attitude money boy.

It has been verified numerous times that minimum wage laws actually decrease employment while making it more difficult for entry level workers to find employment. The political left like minimum wages because it goes along with more government controls on private business.



The way to address this issue is to declare a two year moratorium on the enforcement or passage of any minimum wage law. After two years the individual states -not the federal government- can decide is they wish to enact such. As it currently stands, an entry level worker has to be paid as much or almost as much as an individual with both time and experience. Instead, market forces should be allowed to determine the wage.

I've been asking for the past three years, what is a "fair" or "living wage"? $25, $30 $50 and hour? Can you just imagine a janitor making the same as a highly trained avionics technican? Ain't gunna happen!

It's because conservatives such as yourself consider those earning this minimum "vermin" (your word, and would pay them $1 a day obviously, if you could get away with it, as poor people are "vermin" to you - VERY Christian attitude BTW) that SOMEONE has to stick up for them.
