Question:
Conservatives, what would it take for you to change parties?

A lot of famous people changed parties, including Ronald Reagan, and Arlen Specter. In fact Arlen Specter switched twice.

The Democratic Party would have to move away from my core beliefs for me to switch Parties. I am registered as an Independent, but I am essentially a Democrat, because I vote Blue in every election. However in the 2000 Election I voted for Ralph Nader because I did not like Al Gore's selection for a Running Mate.

I don't believe in Political Parties, they are destroying the Country, We should vote on what people stand for not what some national Party stands for with a National Agenda

Conservative is not a party, it is a philosophical belief. As such, you would have to demonstrate that the belief is flawed beyond redemption and that another belief system is better.

I did change parties and I'm quite happy, thanks.

The Democratic party left me long before I left it.
