I love your delusion that the economy is fixed; I'm still unemployed. Personally I don't think 10% + to be a fixed economy. Bush's economy for the majority of his service was increasing the number of jobs. Most of Obama's time have been job loss. You Obama-Bots are strange. I guess you guys don't understand that if you cause the expenses of employer to go up you decrease jobs. Are Obama-Bots brain dead like their "Leader"?

On what planet? There has been no fix on the economy here in the USA by Obama or anyone in the government. If anything, the government tends to get in the way of the economy and has never been known to "fix" anything. They cause more chaos than assisting anything. as a matter of fact they economies around the world seem to be tanking and we are barely holding our heads above the financial crisis.

And to top it off you had to go and use the race card. I regret to inform you that card is no longer valid, and makes the person playing it look like a racist..

If you think the economy is fixed, I do hope you get more treatment for whatever the ailment is.

Hmmm, I think you better check out your facts, The economy hasn't really changed and I doubt Obama will fix it anytime soon. He is too busy with white house cover ups on offering people jobs if they drop out of races, Too busy campaigning for others, Too busy running down Arizona because they want our immigration problems fixed. Obama will be a one termer just as Carter was.

The depth of liberal thought into the abyss of ignorance is a bottomless pit ! We`re not angry , we commend OWEbama for his ignorance of economics ! We think it is great that OWEbama`s main supporter is having to lay off a good % of their workers` ! Too funny !!!!!

Share Comments 49 The New York Times began its latest round of layoffs Wednesday, as too few employees accepted voluntary buyouts.

The New York Post's Keith Kelly reported Wednesday morning that 26 staffers would be laid off, since only 74 employees accepted buyout offers and the target was to cut 100 positions.

New York Magazine reports that layoffs were "ongoing all day...with the unlucky few people called upstairs out of the newsroom -- where now people are 'standing around in clumps and obviously talking about everything.'"

NYMag's list of laid-off employees includes*:

Eric Konigsberg - Culture

Sara Rimer - National

Christine Hauser - Metro

Josh Barbanel - Real Estate

Mitch Blumenthal - Continuous News

Kate Galbraith - Business

Allen Salkin - Styles

Monica Evanchik - Web

Gawker reports an additional employee, NYT Service/Syndicate multimedia producer C. Spencer Beggs, was also laid off; he told Gawker, "Been there a year and a half. Got 4 weeks salary. I was full-time, non-union."

Cons have got to love this ~~~ News Cycle calculates that over 15,000 newspaper employees have lost their jobs in 2009.. That because of all the liberal BS they print that isn`t true ! Then there is this to credit to OWEbama`s Great Economic Insight ~~~ NY Gov. Paterson threatens to lay off 10,000 state employees Publication date: May 17, 2010 23:12. News item id: 5289436

You have to give New York Governor David Paterson credit for tenacity. Last week a federal court shot down his plan for weekly "furloughs" for 100,000 state workers that would reportedly have saved the state $30 million a week. Now...

I'm not sure if you're aware of this or not, but 10% unemployment is worse than 5%.

It's bad to have record foreclosures.

It's bad to have record welfare recipients.

It's bad to have record bankruptcies.

If something is worse than the thing before it then it hasn't been 'fixed'.

Do you seriously think Obama has fixed anything or are you being ironic because tone doesn't travel over text very well.

Unemployment still rising. Underemployment still rising. Implementing the single largest entitlement program in history. Spending money like a drunken sailor.

Don't think we can handle much more of his "fixing"

Just what has been fixed?

He has spent an exorbitant amount of money, but nothing has been fixed.

The HC bill does not even go into effect for another 3 years, And since it is 2700 pages of government control and rationing( how does that FIX anything.)

The stimulus plans did not fix anything! The federal government doesn't even back up its own American citizens ( it backs up illegals and terrorists) So I will ask you again, What has he fixed?

Because OUR idea of "fixed" is where it's improving the standard of living across the board, not driving more people into dependence, which Democrats OPENLY call success.

I'm not a Conservative. Obama didn't fix the economy. Government can't fix or stimulate the economy. Only damage it with regulations.

Think of every successful business before this recession and let me know what government money they used to get that great.

Higher unemployment, higher taxes, higher gas costs, higher utilities, and debt our great-grandkids will still be struggling to pay off.......is that what you call "fixed"?? He didn't fix anything, and no one with a grasp on reality believes otherwise. That's why his approval ratings are int he toilet, and going down daily.

Honestly? "fixed" is too strong a word. Perhaps "helped". Republicans are "mad" cuz THEIR pockets got "hurt". Also, they failed to field a viable canidate and now are drinking "sour wine". My investments are up 23.4% and got my biggest refund from govt. People like me (middle-class) are generally happy w/ Obama. Ok, I'm ready for the "Thumbs downs"... sorry I told the TRUTH. (not)
