Question:
What does "change" even mean?

When someone says that, until they are more specific, I don't believe a word out of their mouth. How about you?

You are right, change is such a generic concept, that it is meaningless by itself. Until he tells us exactly what he is going to change, I can't get too excited.

Change: from the text book defintion to the working defintion.

Huge differences.

1. Obama says he will change how money is raised to run

campaigns. He lied. Bundlers and George Soros have

seen to this Puppets money needs. Not single mom and

pop saying lets not eat today,. Send Stymie the money.

2. Obama says he will change How DC does business.

He lied. Same ole Same ole in DC. Look at Reid and Pelosi.

3.Obama says he will change anything to fit what anyone

wants to hear, Now that he has been successful on. He will

lie to more people in the scope of one hour than most will

in a lifetime.

4. Obama says JOBS. will bring em to ya. OVER 10 Year

plan. What happened to today. Tomorow or the next day.

5. Obama says FUEL I will Change that for you. He LIED.

he is a stuck in the mud dem. Who would rather appease

the big oil producers than help the American People.

6. Obama says I'll change the ECONOMY. No President

in the History of this country has had the direct impedus

into doing a damn thing with the economy. The last damn

people in the world you want dealing in the Nations economy

are government.

7. Obama says I'll change to just change because change is

what I change best. Now we have reached the bottom of

the Obama barrell, we have him at his best. Full of Crap.

Change is not always good. It is just different than the current situation.

Change for the sake of change, without a specific goal in mind is pointless, and can even lead to a worse situation.

For instance, a man is tired of his job, so he wants a change. Ok, so he quits. That's a change. But now he is unemployed. That is a bad change. He has no job. So he now takes the first job he can find, which turns out to be worse than the one he quit in the first place. It is certainly a change, but it has not brought progress.

See how this can go? Instead, he should have decided where he wanted to go and what he wanted to accomplish, then changed based on those goals. Change for the sake of change does not bring progress. Change with a specific goal might bring progress if you plan it out thoroughly and evaluate it frequently.

Change is another word or a new slogan to use in order to get elected & it works all the time and if you're asking about specific,we heard before about cleaning up & bringing

integrity back to the White house after the Clinton scandal & look what America is going through ! politician is a politician and you should know that there's no difference

between the Democrats or the Republicans

It's like two wings for one bird of prey,as pat Buchanan put it. please read his article about the same subject (Obama's war)

And here's a link :

It's very good reading.

If nobody challenges him for a definition, he doesn't have to give one.

Obama realizes that he's better off with a generic appeal to all Bush-haters alike than limiting himself. He gets to run against Bush even though Bush isn't running.

He cannot run as your standard liberal, even now. The Democrats tried that in '04 when they were really running against Bush, and it didn't work. Most people hate Bush, though for very different reasons. We were angry at Bush in '04, but what happened? Kerry for the first time in his life ran an honest campaign, telling America that he was basically a Brahmin version of Dukakis, and he lost.

This country wants someone in between the 40 yard lines.

But if it doesn't have that choice - if the choice is someone on the right 25 versus someone on the left 25, they'll choose the one on the right 25, all other things being equal.

If Obama runs to the left, that would allow McCain to run to the right and McCain would win.

For Obama to win it has to be a battle over the center - because if Obama stays in the center, the lefties will still come out for him, in part because of his race, while the righties, no matter how many times you remind them of John Paul Stevens' age and Ruth Bader Ginsburg's health, will stay home if they remain convinced that McCain is a RINO.

McCain's moves to the center - and left, frankly - don't win him any support. He's having trouble with Latino voters now, despite his support for total amnesty for a measly five large.

"CHANGE", from the Obama book of definitions, the ability to change ones mind, stand, views , at the drop of a pin and blow hot air into a microphone. Obama changes direction more than the wind across the windy plains. Its impossible to keep up with all his changes. He talks and talks about change, but has not yet offered any solutions to any of the issues.

It means that if you elect Obama , change is all you will have in your pocket. Socialists, as you know have to pay 60% of their money in taxes.

Their health care is ineffiecient, with the inability to care for the masses, as there is not enough money for technology, equipment or research into good drugs. That is definitely a change.

Change by biting the hand that feeds you, by overtaxing those with money they worked to obtain. punishment for incentives, intiatives, and furhter investment in this country.

Lets "hope" that we don't have to go through this "change!"

Mccain has been said to be a bush clone and probably will keep many of the policies of Bush which has nearly doubled our deficit in less than 8 years. That is worse than Carter and Hoover combined. People are trying to compare Obama to Carter why not compare Mccain to Carter instead??
