Question:
Is it fair to compare Caroline Kennedy to Sarah Palin?

The people trying to get Caroline Kennedy into Hillary Clinton's Senate seat are handling her with remarkable similarity to the way Sarah Palin was handled. Press interviews are handed questions she will or will not answer. No surprise questions are allowed.

The only major differences are Sarah Palin was elected to several offices. Caroline Kennedy was never elected to office.

Lets see Caroline:

Is a millionaire trust fund baby.

I don't think has ever worked a day in her life.

Has no idea about the challanges that middle class America faces everyday.

Has probably never balanced her checkbook because she has an accountant do it.

Palin:

Not a millionaire

Worked as a TV weather person.

Was a councilwoman.

She and her husband own and operate a small business.

Is a governor.

I would have to say that no it isn't fair. I would trust Palin long before I would trust yet another elitist snob like Caroline.

Caroline Kennedy is rightfully getting flack from all angles, yet her adventure chairing boards and serving around politics unquestionably makes her as qualified as a small city mayor. remember she's basically attempting to be appointed senator, no longer vice-president. individually i discover her unqualified and that i loathe nepotism, yet her skills are unquestionably on par with Sarah Palin's in her gubernatorial marketing campaign, and as a graduate of Harvard and Colombia regulation she is unquestionably far extra useful knowledgeable than Palin.

No, there's no political comparison. Palin has been elected to her positions and worked her way up and has actually positively effected not only Alaska but the whole nation with her policy. Caroline has done nothing and will have one of the most powerful elected positions in our country without having been elected by the people for anything.

As far as the press and the Pinkos, they'll handle Caroline with kid gloves and drool over her.

Yes, Palin should be U. S. Senator from Alaska.

Thank Zeus! Americans still had enough sense left in November that she is not a heartbeat away from the Oval Office.

No, Palin has more experience. And Palin is more qualified than Obama. Fact.

Many people stumble in front of the media's video cameras.

Being a governor is much more difficult than being a senator or state legislator or neigborhood activist.

Governors have to deal with spending, deficits, economics, jobs, passing laws, etc., etc.. Governors also work 60 hour work weeks and are on call 24/7 while people in congress have summers off and don't have busy schedules.

As per the U.S. Constitution, states are setup to mimic the U.S. government.

U.S. Constitution: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion"

Caroline Kennedy is an attorney, who graduated from Columbia Law School and has written several books on Constitutional Law and education. Sarah Palin has no clue what the Vice President's job is according to the Constitution, cannot cite one daily periodical she read, and attended 6 colleges in 6 years. You be the judge.

There's a big difference: Caroline Kennedy has a law degree, is an accomplished author and speaker, and a calm and sensible woman.

I really don't think she expects to be chosen this time around, but it's a way to get her name out there for the future.

I think that the possibility of CK being appointed to Hilary's seat is old news. She is no longer in contention.

Another important difference is that Caroline is up for Senator.

The Republicans had the audacity to put Palin up for Vice President,

claiming she is capable of being Commander In Chief.

The truth hurts, doesn't it.
