teaching.
Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) said last week “if someone is openly homosexual, they shouldn’t be teaching in the classroom and he holds the same position on an unmarried woman who’s sleeping with her boyfriend — she shouldn’t be in the classroom,” according to the Spartanburg Herald-Journal.
I am just wondering what people from South Carolina feel about this comment.
I am also wondering how DeMint feels about an unwed male teacher sleeping with his girlfriend and if that guy should be banned from teaching

I felt bad about it. What about single men teachers who have sex with women? I was surprised and saddened.

You should ask him. It is great to hear a politician actually tell us where he stands without hemming and hawing around. Or just outright lying like our President.

First of all, he never said it the way YOU presented it.

Secondly, are you against a TERRORIST teaching for years and years and getting award after award for TEACHING? What? You think Bill Ayers is not a terrorist... I see...

I agree with him, but my children attend private schools that would not hire such people. Nor do we live in South Carolina.

Something tells me this is not going to hurt him in South Carolina with Republican inclined voters.....

That sounds like a typical conservative, a misogynist bigot.
