David Cameron is right, but he is only doing it to please the people who have realised the threat, he doesn't mean it so don't fall for it. And although it would be nice to have UKIP win the European elections we won't leave until they get voted into parliament, which would only happen if people bothered to find out the truth for themselves, but they watch and completely trust the news which gets censored to only show the positives like how the EU funds bird conservation projects (which is just us receiving a tiny slice of our 50 million pounds a day back). People also think UKIP is a single issue party and even if that was the case the single issue they are attacking is so dangerous it would be worthwhile voting them in for one term then sacking them - the two main concerns people have are immigration and the economy - which we have no power to change whilst we are in the EU - it controls EVERYTHING. But they are not, and all of there other policies just make sense and are straight talking which is what we need. And the reason they actually know how the economy works is that Nigel Farage has actually had a real job! He said the Euro would fail ten years ago while he was being laughed at, now look, it would appear he has a better grasp of reality than all the career (career - take a mental note of that) politicians in LIB LAB CON. And anyone who is reading this who only votes for the three main left wing parties because they want money from the government UKIP would slash taxes so the cost of living would go down for you massively so it still worthwhile.

I get your point. Try this one on for size. Less than a month ago he spoke up for multiculturalism and the way in which the UK governments achieved it. He beats around the edges of subjects without really saying anything.



What is his agenda and that of his party? Very suspect and I for one am totally worried about what he is doing and saying. Did you notice the very quick word he had with Merkel before he stood to make this speech?



I have no trust at all in this guy anymore and that mistrust grows more each day and every time he says anything. It is beginning to be the case that from Cameron on down, anything anyone from the government says proves to be a lie or a mistake. Doesn't bode well for the UK when you have people who are untrustworthy leading the government. This is proving to be the case with this coalition and like I said; it is getting worse all the time.

Nice rant, but pretty long. If Cameron is serious, he should make it compulsory for all immigrants legal and otherwise to learn English and pass a basic test and make sure they accept that they cannot live outside of our society and laws before allowing them to settle. He should also do something about the burkha as it is goes against our culture and traditions. I'm sick of seeing masked women on the streets of London.

Hi.I think we're on the same lines.



But the idea of Britishising yourself is nonsense. I used to know this 82 year old Kerryman who worked at my local laundrette. He’d been in London 60 years and I still couldn’t understand a word he said as his accent was so thick. He said he was Irish, and he would die in Britain, but he would die Irish. He wasn’t political in any way but he had no interest in becoming British and why should he? People like Baroness Warsi, Trevor Philips or Keith Vaz are as far removed from their own communities as David Cameron is from them and most of us. The whole thing isn’t worth bothering about. There is no threat but David Cameron will keep talking it up as if there is. All I could hear today was Cameron giving excuses on why he thinks we need more erosion of civil liberties and increased population control. You only have to look at the audience that he was speaking to today to see how multi-cultural it was. His Freudian slip outside the door of No.10 on his first day was perhaps more, a true Freudian slip, and not, a slip of the tongue.



In Northern Ireland Catholics and Protestants didn’t mix at all. Catholics went to their shops, petrol stations and pubs, Protestants went to their shops, petrol stations and pubs. Loads of terrorism, people killing themselves left, right and centre but no real long term escalation of government control or erosion of civil liberties. Where’s the terrorism here that merits such new controls? Expect some terrorism soon to change our minds.
