Obama order could make corporate political spending public

An executive order being considered by President Obama would require companies bidding for federal contracts to disclose political spending they may now keep secret.

Because the Republicans get most of their donations from big business. Obama gets his money from the internet(small individual donors)

This has not something to do with reform. Why does Obama want to be responsive to which company supplies who money while it includes government contracts ? that's thoroughly beside the point and is merely going to be utilized in a discriminatory way. EDIT: as everyday Paul Ryan poster is faulty. right here is in straight forward terms a number of Obamas not so small corp. contributions for 2008 : college of California $a million,591,395 Goldman Sachs $994,795 Harvard college $854,747 Microsoft Corp $833,617 Google Inc $803,436 Citigroup Inc $701,290 JPMorgan Chase & Co $695,132 Time Warner $590,084 Sidley Austin LLP $588,598 Stanford college $586,557 national Amusements Inc $551,683 united statesa. $543,219 Wilmerhale Llp $542,618 Skadden, Arps et al $530,839 IBM Corp $528,822

A government that can demand, as an unreasonable search, to see the private records of a corporation, without due process, can also demand to see OURS! But since the Dems are always receiving more money than the GOP (even from CHINA!), why exactly would they be interested NOW except to at the least continue the political intrigue of corporate conspiracies or at the most, cripple GOP campaign funding? But since this was already decided, in other words, he is once again trying to "overturn" a SCOTUS decision he criticized during his "logistical information exemption" at the 2010 SOTU Address. He should start smoking again; then he won't be so "snippy" when he loses court cases! But I believe we have more important things to think about... like the economy.

It's sticky and hey GE gave to the prez. But they want to offset the tens of millions that "people" sent in via the internet and untraceable throw a way credit cards. According to Sgt. T Rice an average household might have a credit card 72% of the time but a computer only 33% of the time thus the disparity. If was rumored that the thousands of acorn employees were actually doing it with Soros money.

Either way what the heck both parties shared pretty much equally in the $3,8 billion* the lobbyists donated to them last year. When i say them I mean the House and Senate members.

and yet unions could donate millions to campaigns with no law about disclosing THOSE contributions! George Soros and Warren Buffet can donate BILLIONS under the radar, but if the NRA were to give 1 thin dime you want them strung up, eh?

Contribute to The Republican Party, you are removed from the bidding list

It is not reform. Did you happen to notice the pigs made the unions exempt? Obama is nothing but a chicago thug who should be in jail.

I don't buy that. Democrats are screaming about having to reveal who they get their campaign donations from.

A majority of Democrat funds come from individuals.

A majority of Republican funds comes from Big Business.

That is why.

That is great news. We can then see who is truly in the pockets of these companies, and who is actually on the side of the average american.

Coming from the President who has raised more illegal money than the last 40 Presidents combined.
