After all he does smoke. Wanda poked fun at Limbaugh and his pill addiction. Fair game? Would that be wrong? Would it all just be good fun? I mean all she said, was she hoped Rush got kidney failure. So it's okay to wish harm to Obama.

I merely thought that Wanda was tiresome and a waste of time. I saw part of her presentation but had better things to do with my time so I did not see all of it.

From what I have heard about what she said, I would say that she was certainly out of line.



It is very foolish to make jokes about wishing that someone were dead, particularly if you do ot on television to a large audience. There are a number of mentally unstable people who watch television who will take a joke like that as an indication that they have the right to go out and kill the person who is the subject of that kind of a joke.



All people need to keep that in mind when they are speaking in a public forum.

As much fun as it would be to poke fun at the liberal establishment, you can not make those statements towards a sitting or former president without the Secret Service taking a much closer look at you than you would like. So while we all know that smoking can and does cause cancer, we cannot turn that into a wish for harm towards the person in this nations highest office.



On a personal note, I don't want to foot the bill for a smokers health care when they are diagnosed with cancer.

I've seen countless right wingers on this site jump for joy when Kennedy was diagnosed with brain cancer and make 'jokes' about his demise. I'm sure not all of them did, but many on Y!A did. They also make lots of jokes about his cancer. And..I'm certain that Limbaugh, in his heart of hearts, does indeed wish Obama ill - he just won't say it.
